Hotel Aeropuerto Quito-Ecuador

i booked a night here a month in advance on my way out of quito as my return flight had me getting back into quito at 11pm with the connection to cuenca at 7am the following morning. i knew i would have 130lbs of baggage and thus wanted to keep movement simple. i wasn't concerned with dining options, or the area, just a bed n shower. I ended up extending my us stay, my change in flight had me getting into quito at 7pm and leaving at 5pm the nexr day. i considered losing my $30 bucks and staying elsewhere after i read all these reviews. i'm glad i didn't. the room was clean, the shower was hot and high pressure and the staff were helpful. my bags had wheels so i lugged em across the street myself, i later met people who paid the airport porters $2 to haul there stuff. there is decent columbian food and pizza within a couple of blocks. checkout is noon so i had ample time to go to the aerogal office at the airport and pay for my flight change without my bags and the lines that occur closer to flight times. i got a good coffee at le petit cafe at the airport along with there wifi key which worked from the hotels dining area. i had a 1oclock appntmnt at the us embassy so i checked out leaving my bags behind the desk area for 4 hours while i took care of bizness and wandered around town a little. i would stay here again for short/easy transfer out of quito.
