Excellent address in Santa Cruz. Quiet while in the city center. We had the family home for 5 people that is tastefully decorated and very functional. Breakfast is good and cozy. Quality accommodation. The price is excessive but you are in the Galapagos!

That's a nice address.

We booked two rooms for two nights, as part of a ten-day trip to Galapagos. 

The rooms were quite spacious and one included a small kitchen where the owners served us breakfast, a large bed with nice bedding, a safe and a/c. The shower had good temperature and flow. There were lots of steps to this room (the other was on the ground floor) and the windows are very high up so there's no outside view.

Breakfast was nice, consisting of fruit, scrambled eggs, bread and juice, served at your pre-selected time.

The owners were both very friendly and helpful and Yogo (who speaks good English) gave us lots of useful information about the island and its wildlife, which he has in-depth knowledge of.

This is a characterful guest house with some nice artwork, mainly depicting wildlife, dotted around. It is well positioned on the edge of the town, and we feel it offers a good option for a stay here.  



Pleasant, characterful guest house with helpful owners. 

A lot to like about this place. Spacious room and bed, nice warm shower. Breakfast served at your own adjecent kitchen area right next to the room. Staff friendly and English speaking. One of the few places in Ecuador where we had a good night sleep. Ask for room Agua when staying here.

One of the best options you will find

Family run rooms near the main street. We were very happy to stay here. A beautyful and quiet place.
The room - or small apartment actually - was very clean and very cosy. There was a kitchen with plenty supplies. Coffee and tea available. Every morning we got our breakfast - with fruits and juice and eggs - in our room.
The family was very friendly and helpful. Their son speaks English too and has all the information you might need for trips or whatever activities.

Great guesthouse in Santa Cruz

La K-leta is a great option for staying in Santa Cruz. I spent a week there with my family in two apartments. Yogo and the staff there are very friendly and welcoming, always approachable and willing to give us advise all the time. I highly recommend staying here as you will feel as home.

Best host and place for staying in Santa Cruz

Our room was a wonderful little oasis in Santa Cruz.  Yogo was a great host who had lots of advice about what to do, including booking trips for us directly.  

We enjoyed our stay there (6 days) and really enjoyed all the things that we could do from a land based vacation.

Great location, wonderful hots

The hotel is located in the centre of the city, but still very quiet. impeccable room and SdB, quality mattresses, refrigerator, trunk. Breakfast was served in the patio in front of the room: bread, fruit, coffee, omelette, carefully presented. The manager is very kind, He explains, advises, orders a taxi if necessary. 3 days in K Leta

We had chosen this hostel because of the good reviews and were very disappointed. - unfriendly reception, not hospitable and not professional in dealing with guests what to expect - extremely loud, nightly rest by the landlord's family, even at 24 hours a night - sometimes no running water (showering/brushing teeth) - breakfast simply - we felt extremely unwelcome - no breakfast accommodation - always dark - worst price-performance ratio on our eight-day trip to the Galapagos Islands - we had much better and cheaper hostels and were very welcome there - there was also a lot of luck!

No recommendation, poor price and performance ratio

A great accommodation and a great starting point for exploring the island. The guesthouse is quite central but still very quiet, so you can't get away from the hustle and bustle in the center, even though you're in the middle of the action within a few minutes walk. Our room was large and comfortable and the very delicious breakfast was served on our own terrace. There really isn't any desire left open here and we would be back anytime.

Central reading but still very quiet

So nice to have a place to go home to after a day of adventure in the remarkable galapagos islands.  We were in a two bedroom apartment with a full kitchen and although we didn't cook we had a place to have a few beers, coffee and snacks.  Very clean and tastefully decorated. The breakfasts were great, varied and dilivered to our room at a time specifies.
This was so close to the center of town, waterfront and the Darwin center that we could walk around at our leisure.  
They also arranged all of out outings from mountain biking, paddle boarding, snorkeling, hikings and discovery yours.  everyone was excellent and so friendly.  
Highly recommend.
