Tropical Inn Hotel

This hotel was very good in quality and value. I got a suite of great size with whirlpool tub included and the internet was in the room vice public area. Shower with hot water and cable TV with CNN. However, this hotel is located in a neighborhood that could be perceived as unsafe at night. During the day there are many local businesses like: stores, fast food, pharmacies, restaurants, super markets, and cafes within walking distance. The area is not expensive at all. Taxis to the many malls in Guayaquil are quite cheap at $5, The staff was very helpful and friendly to my needs. I recommend only to those on a tight budget looking for some luxury but can tolerate a below luxury neighborhood.
