35 reviewsI had such a nice experience here. The wonderful woman who runs it always has a smile. The room was comfy, and the bed had lots of warm blankets on it. I was there in Cuenca’s cold season, so the room could get a bit chilly, but not bad and expected in Cuenca. Lots of hot water for the shower, and the room was cleaned daily. It was spotless. They provide soap and shampoo. The breakfast had fresh made pineapple juice, a warm roll, coffee, and scrambled eggs. She scrambled them for each person, they were made fresh. I felt very safe in the area, even walking around at night. There are shops and restaurants all around. It’s in a very walkable place with many places to go and things to see in the area. One thing that surprised me was how quiet it was. I had heard that Cuenca was noisy, but I guess the beautiful old building kept it quiet. I highly recommend this lovely hotel, and I’d happily stay there again.
