I'd been travelling around Peru & Ecuador for a few months, stayed in some horrid dives(even waking with 100s of bites), this place was a fantastic change! I paid more, but then it's a resort, it's by the beach, and still very good rates!. The owners spoke excellent English and were so hugely helpful the even gave me a lift several times, once when they spotted me out knowing I was headed to a specific place and realised I was lost! So came over and gave me a lift!!. OK this isn't the Hilton.... but if you want that then pay 10x or 20x the cost!! Thank you, Carlos of the UK! I think late Aug 2014. Muchas Gracias
