I have stayed at Hostal Friends multiple times throughout my stay in Ecuador and would return again. It’s not a luxurious hostel, but has WiFi, hot water, and is in a great location with good prices. It is family run and the staff is always kind and helpful, they even watch my backpack for me when I am only visiting Montañita for the day:-)
