Loved our time here!  The scenery was great.  The staff were friendly and helpful.  The waterfall and pool were better than in the pictures online.  The hammock was nice for lounging.  One recommendation: bring mosquito repellent. 

Great accommodations, impeccably clean, beautiful views, very helpful and friendly staff, good food from local supply  (vegetarian and glutenfree options available). Has something for everyone either for resting or adventure and sightseeing.  A perfect stay!!

The place is amazing!!! Not so far from Quito, it is truly the door to the Amazon. The rooms are mind-boggling, they are some sort of cabins buried on the ground, really cute.
The staff is incredible, we were really well served. Everyday there is anew activity to do in the jungle, the waterfalls and the river. It is also located close to a indigenous community which we visited and learned so much about. Great adventure!

We booked one of Bellandia’s two eco-cabañas - a lovely rammed earth hobbit house covered in plants and with its own covered terrace with lounge chairs and a colorful hammock, overlooking an amazing view. The whole experience at Bellandia was wonderful.  We were the only guests for 3 days and the staff took great care of us.  We went on a fun and informative tour to the smaller waterfall on our first day.  On the second day we went to the large waterfall and natural swimming pool. It was a blast and so gorgeous.  We decided to add a third night and signed up for the “community tour” with our cheerful guide. This included a an indigenous village tour, with fun and interesting activities, a canoe trip and a visit to the giant swing with incredible views.  What a photo op!

Bellandia is in a secluded and remote location.  All meals will be taken there.  Visitors should budget about $36-40 for meals.  You can’t really put a price tag on the special experience Bellandia offers, but it’s nice to know what to expect.  Transportation to and from Puyo, laundry, breakfast and all the on-property excursions were included in our room price.  Fantastic!  We highly recommend Bellandia for travelers looking for a unique and gorgeous stay in a carefully tended rainforest environment.

Bellandia is incredible. We flew into Quito for the weekend from the US and debated doing either Galapagos or the Amazon. We’re so happy we chose the Amazon! They arranged everything for us, from transport to/from the airport to guided tours. Every single staff member was beyond warm, welcoming, and accommodating. Plus, the food and our room were OUT OF THIS WORLD. I would highly recommend!!!!!!! Totally worth the long trip just for the weekend.
