I visited La Barca hotel with my family is a fantastic place because La Barca has the many floor and comfortable bedrooms. In hotel has abig pool in front of the beach, also in the hotel serves several dishes very delicious for me for examples seafood, majado, bolon and differents drinks. In hotel has staff very friendly for me, in this places things are very cheap for example handicrafts. In there share great moments because it was a really relaxing and enjoyable experience, I will definitely return on our next trip. I like La Barca Hotel. Is a good place to relax and share great moments. I recommend visiting this place

A Beautiful place to visit

The Hotel Barca, is close to the beach, it is a perfect hotel for the family, it is clean, modern, it has a garage, swimming pool and it is in front of the sea, it is cheap and it is close to food places and clothing stores it has a beautiful view of the sea.
The hotel is large and comfortable, the installations are well preserved, rooms in good condition, ample, it has cable TV, free wifi, it is a wonderful place.
I recommend the hotel for your holidays, it is very beautiful and the staff that works are very friendly.

A Nice Place

It is a good place to rest. It is comfortable all rooms have air conditioning. They also have small refrigerators if you bring your own drinks. Is a nice please because is in front of beach near bar and many restaurants. Its address is in center city. All rooms are clear. The hotel has a view privileged because its pool is in last floor from there you can see all beach, sunset is amazing. The beds are soft. There is Wi-Fi. Some rooms there aren’t any windows. I recommend If you want a good room you should reserve with anticipation.

I send several messages to the hotel, asking if rooms available and for what price for single (The prices were only for double ) buit never any answer. I stayed in another, nearby hotel. La Barca does nt want single travelers. I visited the hotel and found it quite pleasant and inviting. Very centraly situated, right at the main corner of the malecon (beach road)  The rooms are very good and the price - for double - is very good. (I never found out for singles) 

I almost stayed there

The only good thing about this hotel was the staff who were great, and the rooftop pool. The town of Atacames is an absolute dump. The beach is ok, but dangerous at night (didn't know this until I arrived) . The beds were horribly uncomfortable (one bed sheet) the rooms were boiling hot which wouldn't have bothered me if the rooms had sufficient air conditioning. Lastly, There was a group of Argentine soccer fans who partied on the rooftop which of course was directly above my room until 3am in the morning. No one stopped them. This will be my first and last time in Atacames.

A place to stay in a dump of a town

When we arrived we felt very welcomed when received by the girl in the reception. The room with a double bed on the first floor was very small, but we did not expect (or need) anything else and it was nice and clean. The kitchen downstairs was very useful since we like to cook our own food, it was tidy and all equipment necessary was available. The terrace and pool on the top floor is a nice location to relax, and another plus is that it is only 5 meters until you reach the beach (however I did not like Atacames beach, dirty and too many venders but that is another story). The downside of this hotel is the inevitable noice from all the bars on the street where the hotel is located. It is good if you like going out and party until 2/3 in the morning, but if you are trying to get a good nights sleep - not so good. Nevertheless, this hotel is definitely priceworthy and I enjoyed my stay! 

Clean with nice terrace

The hotel is nothing fancy , so if you are looking this select a different one.
For my group and I was more than enough, clean rooms, enjoyable swimming pool at terrace level, if your room is located in the front  part of the hotel it  could be a little noisy. You can add for an affordable price (3 Us$ ) different kinds of breakfast in the main floor of the hotel where the lunch room is .
The staff were very friendly and efficient . |Thanks for making our stay really pleasant.
PD: my suite was the 16 and even when it was cleaned every day the bathroom had a unpleasant smell.
