This is, as its name suggests, a small beach located in Sosua, very charming and welcoming for its clear waters, ideal for going as a couple, the main benefit is its tranquility since not many visitors visit it.

This is the first time that I've ever been to the zoo.

Beach entrance is not well marked. It is very small and it can be tough to get out if gets choppy. No services around. Maybe not worth looking for it unless you staying close by. It would not be good [place for non swimmers.

The owner and the workers there charged 300 for a ciroc bottle. These guys wouldn't budge and the worst customer service. How does it make sense to charge 300 for a ciroc bottle? The worker there is a cheater. Don't ever go to that place 

This place is the worst 

I've been here for four weeks now, an apartment that's fine, not luxurious but not as luxurious as many others here, cleaned every day, tennis courts and bar in the house.

Price performance is correct

Chiquita beach as its name suggests is a small beach of sosua.. it is about 1 km long but in my opinion it is the best beach of sosua. unlike the main beach of sosua, chiquita beach is a quiet place where merchants do not bother you and where you can relax in its clean waters surrounded by white sand.. if you do not want to pay for an umbrella, there are palm trees where you can put your towel. it has a restaurant with access from the beach where you can buy cold drinks for much less money than if you buy it from merchants who rent you the umbrella.

A very small beach, but beautiful, hard to find, so ask a local as you approach the area, only one little path down, waves are amazing, don,t go on a Sunday as the beach is busy with locals, all beaches in the DR are public

Amazing

Coming from the US with reservations screwed up from a different vacation home rental, we chose the Playa Chiquita. It was perfect for a mancation and we spent 75% less which meant we had more monies for partying. The owner was great to us even though we did not have a reservation, The gates are closed around 10pm each night to keep things safe. Each place has its own bedroom and in close proximity. When I say this is perfect for a vacation with your male friends, that is exactly what it is. I would repeat more than once. You'll need a car if you want to be independent, otherwise there are moto taxis on site. After 10pm Jose is the night watchman, and will let you in during those late night hrs. I had a great time in the DR

Great Spot

I stayed three times in the last four years in Hotel Playa Chiquita. As advantages i can notice; Nice large apartments with kitchen, living room and separate bedroom, TV with lots of premium channels. Very friendly european owners, excelent daily housekeeping. Ideal location, not in the noisy village but only 5 minutes away with motorbike. ( You can rent one or use the motorbike taxis you find 24/7 outside the hotel) .Better value for money from all the others hotels.
Generally,a very good choice, especialy for singles who look for quality holidays with privacy.

The best choice in Sosua.

Nice very quiet place, 15 minutes walk from the city centre, two steps from the casino, and has two steps from a small grocery store. On the site there are several tennis courts, the rooms are beautiful and very clean, they clean every day, there is a small kitchen and small fridge in the room. There is a small swimming pool on the site very clean. Nice peaceful place at a reasonable price of $30 a day.

It's very quiet.

Hello, a friend and I spent our 14-day vacation in this facility on 2nd of February 2012. Harald also gave us some useful tips where we could go to the city, where we could find the food studio, etc. When we arrived at the facility, Harald picked us up on time from the airport, so we saved ourselves the bus to the hotel. I asked Harald, since I didn't have any pesos yet, to drive me to a changing room, then we took a city tour through Sosua.
