39 reviewsI stayed with Catherine and Steve for two weeks with one of my colleague while we are doing global health rotation as resident in La Romana. The location is very convenient to town center about 15min walk or <5 min taxi drive. The area is very safe to walk around. There are nearby local shop for drinks and a very good empanadas place which I strongly recommend. The place itself was amazing. I stayed in second floor with my own living room and bathroom, very spacious. They also offer a nice small rhomboid shaped pool which is very refreshing. The included breakfast is amazing. The helper will make fresh juice, eggs, Home made jams along with other fresh local food. The view from breakfast is spectacular. Catherine does have 3 very well behaved cats roaming around the house as well as few dogs that’s outdoor only. Overall I enjoyed the place very much!! Strongly recommended if you are staying the La Romana area! If I’m back to visit i will definitely stay again.
