Great location at a low price

I got to know this awful place on Airbnb. Nothing that's advertised there is reality. There's no Wi-Fi in the room. I had to buy a SIM card and spend it on mobile internet. There were only two facial towels available, no towels and soaps advertised there. Shower? Nothing. Just a can on the top of the wall. The towels and carpets were torn apart, the windows didn't open, the fan had the exposed and dangerous wire, and it made a lot of noise. The bathroom was almost falling off the wall. I wouldn't sleep peacefully, because there was a lot of noise coming from the street, even at night. I was humbled, because hotel employees came to me two times, and I hadn't paid the hostess.

Oh, my God!

If you are planning to stay a couple of days in Bayahibe and you are looking for a basic room you are welcome! Clean room, but a bit dark because of the poor lighting in the room. Small bathroom with cold water. Located just a few minutes walk from the beach and lots of small restaurants and "colmados" nearby. If you are looking for a friendly priced hotel, for sure this is the best place in town.

Did not interact too much with the staff. Never knew/received wifi password. If you don't pay online you do have to pay in cash. They don't accept anything else. Great location!!

Great location

I haven't expected to find a such an offer on CheapTickets. Hotel doesn't have a hot water whatsoever. You have to take a shower in cold water. In 8 nights stay, towels and bed sheets have been changed only two times. All furniture is dirty, old, should be thrown away and replaced with new one. Hotel is located in village Bayahibi that is serving tourists from allover a world. There are two beaches in just 7 min walk. You can find supermarket, pizzerias, bars, restaurants, car, scooter rentals, pharmacy and even a doctor's practice there in just minutes of walk. Bayahibi is a small and friendly village to go for vacation. However, hotel Llava Del Mar is the worse option out all other hotels there. Also, by choosing a hotel in that village, please try to make sure that it has a hot water because some of none expensive hotels in that area don't even have hot water pipes installed in shower rooms.

Very poor quality hotel

The Llave del mar was the worst accommodation of our entire four-week vacation in the Dominican Republic. In Bayahibe we were at first in the Cabañas Trip Town and assuming it was quieter, we had (apparently) paid for 3 nights on the roof. We looked around the place. For nostalgic reasons (I had stayed in the Lllave del mar in the mid-1990s when Bayahibe was still a sleeping village - and the hotel was only a house and a beautiful one) and assuming that it was quieter, we had (apparently) paid for 3 nights on the roof. One night we had no room, we had no room, then three (!) men came from the bells at night.

Hello I had the opportunity to spend an incredible night in this hotel in the heart of the city of Bayahibe. The room is the simplest, a bed, a fan, a dresser and a night table. For the fan, you should know to be content with the only available speed and its no rotation..😥😥😥 The bathroom is even simpler. A sink and a shower basin. A shower faucet. Yes one car does not think about hot water.....And for the shower jet it is really a jet, because there is no more spraying apple. For the atmosphere no worries. The bar located in your room, playing at night to the music, screams and rattles, and you will be accompanied by a good memory of the game of baseball.
