Royalton Hideaway Punta Cana, An Autograph Collection All-Inclusive Resort & Casino – Adults Only

We loved this place but the food was not that great. If you're looking for adults only be aware there are parts of the resort that's for families. We didn't mind it much but there were kids at the pool with a swim up bar as well as another main pool. The was a designated pool for adults and a beach spot for adults. The service was good in every aspect from the restaurants to the bartenders to the room service. The people were friendly. There was a foam party on the main pool Friday. It was great but there were a lot of kids there. Again, we didn't mind it. There are a lot of restaurants but I have to say hands down Dorado is the best. It's right next to the beach and they serve breakfast lunch and dinner. The best view! The Italian place, Grazie, was not good at all. We didn't even eat what we ordered because it was that bad. I ordered lasagna and it was nothing like lasagna. It the steakhouse was just OK. The Mexican place was unimpressive. The buffet place was average but nothing great. We didn't try the Japanese or Chinese places. We took and excursion to soana island. I highly recommend this but it's an all day adventure to the most beautiful place I've ever seen. Monday night was the white party.. you wear all white. They have a BBQ and dancing. Lots of fun. We upgraded to diamond club and our butler, Victor, was awesome. He was very attentive and helped with any questions and made reservations for us. There are lots of excursions available but the resort itself is so great we didn't feel the need so we only chose to go on one. It's beautiful well kept and clean. The beds were comfortable and the room was nice and an amazing view of the pools and ocean. You will encounter people selling things and services such as massages. Never accept the first offer of you're even interested. If you nicely decline they will move on. Bottom line- it's a great place. Clean, beautiful and the people are very nice but if you're a "foodie" go elsewhere.. you'll be disappointed.
