The structure is no longer run by Italians, we have had to deal in person only with a girl who didn't speak a word of English but that would be the least The sea view room with indoor bathroom was really uncomfortable, from the waterproof with a wooden closet and from the bathroom spreads a smell of mold/closure The shower tent is indecent The towels smell (have been washed?) The breakfast is always the same and miserable With toast bread, cheese ham cookies the coffee milk cereal juice and 1. times.The packaged sweets on the comfortable lamps have European but there are no adapters..... The windows in the common area are indecent as from very nice the beach with pictures of the beach, the stays at the gazebo and a shade of the beach are also taken by the tourist and the tourist accommodations are a short walk away from the beach and the taxi market with some 500 meters.

Change of management

It is located inside a closed monitored neighbourhood with more buildings around. In order to get to the area where buildings are, you have to pass a control, and that makes the area safer.The owners are amazing, so nice, very helpful and make you be as comfortable as possible. They give you info about everything you can do around. Breakfast is not big but good enough to start your day. The room is big and comfortable with a big bathroom. A balcony with table and chairs lets you be outside reading or you can even have dinner there and the door is well prepared with an anti mosquitoes protector.. There is a common area with a big sofa where you can watch TV and socialize with other guests. If you go by car, there is plenty space to park outside the neighbourhood but in a safe place as it is inside the control. There is also a restaurant at the beach and very close to other services such as markets, shops, restaurants...In general quality-cost relationship is acceptable considering the high prices in Punta Cana and that you've got a quiet beach in front of you.
I would stay again with no doubt.

 · As it is inside a neighbourhood with more apatments around it's difficult to find it as there is no sign of it. When we got there, we were asking in restaurants and places around where it was and nobody had heard about the hostel. In the end they came to us, we were being helped by the owner of a restaurant to phone them as we couldn't find the hostel and coming from Europe we didn't have a local sim card. Everything fine finally, but there should be a sign outside somewhere

Godd alternative to visit Punta Cana on your own

This property is located in an excellent position, in front of the beach and a few minutes walk from bars, restaurants and various commercial exercises; at the disposal of the guests there is also a stretch of beach reserved for residents of the condo, with free equipment. The reception of the two managers Simone and Michela is fantastic, they are special people who make you feel among friends, advise you and take care of each other with great care. The rooms are cleaned every day personally by their care, to maintain an always excellent level.

Séjour au bord de la mer des Caraïbes

The location of the apartment with its private beach, quite comfortable and always clean, the breakfast very good. The attention unmatched. It is a good option to stay while taking excursions.

We had a great stay at this B B. Very close to the beach. Synnedsättning for free and no hustling.
The italian coupe who owned the place was really nice. Enough restaurant in the neigerbourhood to visit. Safe aswell. Highly recommend

Great stay

Me and my husband are not the "all inclusive resorts" kind of people, so finding B&B Playa Matilde, right in the middle of gorgeous Bavaro Beach, was a real deal! 
You will have the best value for your money. Simone and Michaela are great hosts. She cooks the best pastries ever. The room is clean and cosy, with AC and fan. Shower could be better. The B&B is greatly located, with walking distance from a lot of restaurants and supermarkets. It also has its private beach. We spent a great week there!

Great value for money!

Excellent location, with a beautiful view from the balcony to the beach. It is a SUPER comfortable and always clean apartment. The Michela and Simone apartment was unparalleled. The internet connection is very good, including the beaches. Everything excellent, 100% recommended.

The location is exceptional, directly on the sea, with private beach with bunk beds, and is also convenient to go out in the evening and go to dinner in bars or restaurants. The owners are very kind and available, easily contactable if necessary. The breakfast is very good, especially the cake that the owner prepares every morning (I made myself leave the recipe:)). The rooms and bathrooms are clean, the large common area with TV, refrigerator, lounge, toaster and boiler available to customers. The Wi-Fi takes both inside the B&B and on the beach. The rooms are equipped with air conditioning and ventilator, not to be underestimated, considering that in months the humidity in the republic will make the master of the park.

Relaxation and tranquility

My partner and I spent 8 days at this hotel, we chose the King room and decided to take advantage of breakfast every morning, choosing as much as possible! :) The B&B went beyond our expectations because in addition to staying in a clean, tidy and two-step-two from the beach, the guys who run it, over time, became our friends and we hope to see them again even after the stay. Before we left, many friends, acquaintances and travel agents advised us against do it yourself for the Dominican Republic because it is dangerous, dirty and famous for scams.
