reasonably prized and staff was excellent.

We will spend 7 days at the hotel. The rooms are well maintained, clean and very spacious. Beautiful bathroom with a shower. Free coffee machine. Careful service force that indulges us every day with a delicious breakfast. Unfortunately no restaurant. 100 meters away a bistro, cheap and of excellent quality.

Absolutely satisfied!!

Decent hotel. A little battered hotel on the outside, the inside was decent enough. It provided us with a base for our trip on the westcoast. We would go again.

Battered, yet decent hotel.

Nice, small hotel for one or two nights. The room was quite modern and clean (it has probably been renovated in recent years). The operation has been reduced to a minimum of staff, among others there is no reception. But even here a late check-in was no problem. We had received the room number the day before by phone booking, the key had been deposited on arrival. Breakfast must be pre-ordered. Sat TV and Internet (WLAN) were available. In conclusion: Everything worked out as it should have been!

Nordic serenity, price OK

A charming little village near the coast which was ideal for our business trip to the Danish Army Combat centre.  The hotel was right at the heart of the village and the staff were very friendly and welcoming.  Food was really nice and the rooms were clean, tidy and had a modern feel.
You have to remember that the village pub and bars shut at 2130 hrs during the week but was grateful for an early night and waking without the weary feeling in the morning.  I would recommend it.

Centre piece of a little village

Toristhotellet is a fine little hotel for a night or two. The operation is reduced to a minimum. There is no reception, but the staff at the attached restaurant is very nice and helpful. If you check in after hours 8 pm you must make arrangements with the hotel.

The rooms are small but clean. There is no air conditioning and there may be some noise from the street. There is Wifi in the rooms but in the room we stayed in it seemed only to work periodically and the connection was weak.

Breakfast is adapted to the number of guests and can be a buffet or serving for each guest.

There is free parking behind the hotel.

The city itself has little to offer. There's alright museum of fire engines and Danish tanks and Amber museum is surprisingly interesting. The hotel restaurant is the only restaurant in town and there are a few pizzerias.

You get what you pay for

Clean and nice touristhotel with very delicious restaurant.

When we checked in we got an exact price for room and staying but when leaving after four nights they had added extraprices for services we were not told about. This is pretty Danish habit, I think. But not very nice... 

(No swimming pool as rated below...)

I was in the area on business and this was the only hotel I could find. The village of Oksboel is very quiet so I wasn't expecting too much. The hotel is clean and functional, the opening hours for the restaurant are restricted so you need to eat early, I missed the opportunity to dine as it was past 8 pm. In fact you cannot get anything to eat after 8 pm in the village. There is a service station 5 mins walk away and a supermarket 150 metres away. There is free WiFi and TV but nothing else ( no even a reception). Breakfast is standard fare for Denmark, cheese, ham bread coffee. At the end of the day it was a place to rest your head and OK for 1 night.
