Hostel booked with Booking about a month before departure, four-bedroom with indoor bathroom. We rented the sheets and towels (70 crowns). Total price 815 crowns with breakfast included. Room enough for one night is fine. Possibility to use the hostel kitchen. Minimum breakfast but overall there was nothing missing.

Hostel in Hobro Sports Centre

Danhostel is one of the best hostels I've stayed in, it's clean and the facilities are modern, have their own bathroom, and a games room.

A good option

Really clean , bright hostel with wonderful kitchen facilities , nice clean and simple rooms . Quite roomy . Beds comfortable. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Good bicycle storage - closed and secure . Right off bicycle trail in Hobro . Market within 500 meters . Good basic breakfast available at reasonable cost . The hostel is situated in a beautiful suburban area with a Cultural and sports center right next door . Roomy , clean and updated en-suite bathroom .

Good deal at a nice Hostel

Cheap. Clean. Not cosy and the beds are of low quality. If you don't have your own linen, you have to pay 70 DK extra. Not my favorite, but acceptable for what you're paying for. Ok if you just need a place to sleep.

For just staying the night it's ok

I stayed one night in this building. The common areas are well maintained, clean, the kitchen is great and the dining room is great. Free parking in front. But the big new are the rooms... very tiny... we were in 4, I struggled to open the castle beds, there was no room to open them all. The suitcases were practically left under the bed, there was not even room to keep them open one!! Clean bathroom but small, too!!! Just for one night, no more!! Wifi free.

Small rooms!

We were cycling accross Europe and happened that I had a knee injury just arriving to Hobro. Looking for a place to rest some days we ended up in this hostel. 
The hostel was recently refurbished and super clean. If you value cleaningness you wont be dissapointed.

The hostel has not a lot of character, simple and neat, but good place to rest. 

New hostel, clean and good service

Stayed 1 night only, but this hostel is decent enough for a longer stay in Hobro. Had a 4-bed room as a single room, with en suite facilities. The room was nice enough, the bathroom a bit dated. The hostel is located a bit outside of the town centre, close to municipal sports facilities. The hostel has no reception of its own (at least not in the low season), but shares reception with the sports hall nearby. The receptionist there was very friendly and helpful. Like in other Danhostels, you have to put on the linen yourself, you may hire linen and towel in the reception, or bring your own. Self-catering (kitchen available), but you may order breakfast (I did, cheap but very basic). You get what you pay for - no more, no less. Free WiFi, a bit slow, but worked okay.

Fairly decent Danhostel in Hobro

For work I searched for a hotel in the area through a specialized site the price was among the most affordable, I looked at the photos and booked! I was looking for only a minimum of comfort and tranquility, I found only the second one! It is not what you can call a hotel, the structure is part of the sports enclosure attached, it is closer to a hostel x young sportsmen on holiday! I slept alone in March x two nights (the site gave the last room left!) looking at the sheet attendance at the reception the hotel was actually full on Friday Saturday and Sunday The structure, the rooms, the premises attached with playroom, garden, are as said not x business but for recreational sports activities, there is no hostel and you turn to the pool, not even the swimming pool! I had to play in the bathroom and I was not going to pay for the room where I was going in the morning, I did not understand where I was going in the morning, I was not going to pay for the comp, I was going to go to the bathroom where I was going in the morning.

It's like a hotel.

Incredibly friendly staff! The gamer room is great with all sorts of games as air hockey, table tennis and table football. It is generally quiet at the hostel and we did not see a lot of people although the hostel was fully booked. :)

It would be nice if they would hand out more keys (e.g. 2 keys) per room. It would be more nice and comfortable if the furniture was updated.
