Very nice nature area next to a lake, nice choice of camping spots, whether you want space around you and a view, or find shade between trees. Free weekly concerts, weekly drinks evenings all summer. Close to Legoland.

We rented a cottage which was very nice. Facilities on the camping was great! Many toilets on the womens side. Few showers, but met our needs. Fun playground for the kids and even some games. Beautiful environment with a half-tame duck of some sort that came by on our walk for a little chat. Nice staff! 

Stayed in a 5 bed cabin (one of the blue ones) for one night on the way to Hirtshals. Was lovely and clean. Basic facilities in the cabin - double electric ring, coffee maker, crockery and cutlery. Also bowl and washing up liquid to take things to the washing up area.
Pillows and quilts provided but sheets and towels are extra. The bunk beds were comfortable.
Friendly welcome and reception open at 6.30pm (we had advised in advance we would be late). It is possible to order bread in the evening for breakfast the next day. Shop has a small range of basics. 
Showers and toilets are very clean and shower room is nice and warm. Water in shower is cold for first person for a long time and then very hot for the next person - too hot to even stand in- be careful with children using it. Also has several family bathrooms.
Grounds are well maintained. Caravan pitches looked well spaced out with trees/hedges separating smaller areas. Very peaceful.
Children’s play area has two bouncy cushions as well as other activities and also a zip wire. Barbecue area is lovely with lots of seating and large BBQ. Very good value for money.


The campsite is beautifully situated, only 18 km from Billund. Great area, peace and quiet. A nice playground for children. We had a 4 person cottage, without bathroom and water but we had free access to the kitchen facilities (very close to cottage) and toilets/showers.  In the cottage there were two bunk beds, a table, 4 chairs, a fridge, lamps and a cabinet with kitchen equipment  (sufficient, plates, cups, pots, cutlery, etc.). The child was delighted with the place, we too. The whole facility is very clean and the service is very nice. The only inconvenience wasis that there was no kettle at cottage and some electrical outlets did not work

Family friendly cottages. Contains all you need. Clean area, nice playgrounds and very friendly staff. We will very likely revisit this camping. The cabins get very warm on sunny days. The area is very tranquil and good for a relaxed holiday.

We spent a few nights here to visit Legoland which is only 18km away. Campsite is nice. Clean toilets and showers. Nice playground for kids. Fresh bread available when you order it the day before. Not as quiet as expected. Good place to stay for a few night. Would like to check out the cabins
