Hotel Bredehus

This hotel is around 15km from Legoland, and 13km from Billund Airport, and I think it would make a good family stay location. The rooms are in a courtyard which looks a little like a stable yard with a row of rooms on each side and parking in the centre. The rooms have a kettle and also a mini-bar with snacks and alcohol. Most of the rooms have foldout bunk beds to make the rooms into family rooms. The shower is a wet-room type which I assume makes it accessible for disabled people. I ate the meal of the day in the restaurant that evening, which was beef with new potatoes, carrots mushrooms and gravy. This was followed by a desert of pancakes and raspberry syrup all washed down with a real ale called Jakobson. It was absolutely delicious albeit a little pricey at £30, but then You do pay a little more for eating out in Denmark than you do in the UK. Breakfast was a little disappointing as it was mainly bread and different types of cheeses. I would prefer a little more variety than that if possible. I would stay here again if I was in the area as it is well located for the airport and reasonably priced at £85 per night considering it’s so close to legoland.
