My partner and I stayed at Voldstedgaard B&B when we visited Denmark for my best friend's wedding. We are from the United States and had never visited Denmark, and do not speak Danish, so we really needed support to navigate the area. The owners of Voldstedgaard B&B, Benny and Jennifer, were the best host and hostess we could have asked for. Since there is limited public transportation in the area, Benny basically was our personal taxi and took us to wherever we needed to go, including a 3 am pick up from the wedding party! They made delicious breakfast for us every morning with a range of wonderful traditional Danish food for us to chose from. They were also just extremely kind and welcoming which we really appreciated being that we were so far away from our home. All and all, this is the best hotel and b&b service experience we have ever had abroad, and would highly recommend it to our friends and family and anyone looking for a tranquil get away in rural Denmark.
