After reading a lot of reviews for this place, i was a little sceptic. I have bought a gift certificate through a auction site last year and needed to use it for a romantik get away. I almost didn't go because of the reviews, but I am SOOOOO glad we did. Arrived to cake and coffee, got our rooms, that was fine and clean (Comfort rooms). Went down to buy a beer before dinner, very sweet waitresses. When it was time for dinner we had their 5 causes dinner with wine menu. They call it gourmet menu, and I agree - i have a past as a chef so i am mayby a little bit more tuff to impress. The food was very good and nicely cooked, good combinations and well seasoned. Their bread was so delicius, a nice tuff crust and lovely saltet. The winemenu was perfectly balanced for the food and we god a nice presentation for each course and wine. The waiters refilled the wine in glasses and at the main course we got offerd more meat/potato/sauce. They have a 1600 m2 kitchengarden where they grow some of their own food, impressive. We ended the night with a coffee and petitfours. We would have had a gin and tonic after, because the ones the table next to us had, looked fantastisk, but couldn't hold any more alcohol this night. 😂😂 I was glad that we went, and thanks for a great stay.
