44 reviewsValtice is definitely a place worth visiting, and the Salety is the place to stay. It looks like an old coaching inn, perhaps to serve the main chateau (castle) which it is right next to. It is a beautiful hotel. The rooms are good - clean and well maintained. We booked a room with a double bed - but the 'double' bed was two single beds pushed together. Each had a separate single quilt... Whilst just outside the chateau, our room looked onto a small area at the back that was being developed. Not ugly but you might want to ask for a room that looks over the front of the hotel. Some minor drilling noises at 07:30am, so if you're a late sleeper then a room at the front will be more important! Breakfast was reasonable - not that much variety but enough for most people. They don't have 24h reception - you will be given a key to the main front door so shouldn't be an issue. Also check to make sure the reception will be open when you check out.
