Hotel Josef

We had a brilliant stay at Hotel Josef and would absolutely choose to stay here again if we revisit Prague. Our flight arrived very early, so we got to the hotel around 9am, well before check-in. The team happily stored our luggage. When we came back at the official check-in time, our room wasn’t quite ready. While a little frustrating, the reception staff were extremely apologetic and immediately offered us a complimentary drink in the lobby. The space was modern and cool, the drink was cooler and we just chilled, so waiting 30 minutes was no hardship. When we finally got to our room, it was worth the wait. The room was large, airy, spotlessly clean and modern with lots of glass and mirrors (which probably explains why housekeeping takes their time!). The bed was huge and very comfortable, and the air conditioning was excellent — a real relief given it was in the 30s during our stay. The bathroom was another highlight, with a spacious, powerful shower. Breakfast was simply exceptional — possibly the best hotel breakfast I’ve had. The selection was superb, with something for everyone, even a do-it-yourself juicer that was very popular. Definitely book breakfast here, it’s fantastic quality and great value for money. The hotel is in a fantastic location — close to the Old Town, restaurants, shops, and easy to walk everywhere, yet tucked away enough to feel peaceful. Finally, a big thank you to the staff. Every interaction was warm and professional, and they truly helped make our stay wonderful. Hotel Josef combines style, comfort, and excellent service — highly recommended!
