Not bad at all. Twenty beds shared room (while beds have no curtains) might be rough, but it was quite clean and calm. Nice staff, good lobby. Nott central, but easy commute anywhere else in the city.

good enough

The place is nice and clean, with a clearly visible well-lit nameplate. It is a 3-4 min walk from the nearest tram stop and if you know anything about the transport system in Prague, it is that trams work really well. 

I stayed in a 20 people mixed dorm room. The room was very comfortable with good lockers and a clean bathroom/shower on the floor. The downside is that it was on the 4th floor, without a lift. So if you have a heavy luggage bag, it's going to be quite a climb. Female only or male only dorms occupy lower floors. 

The place has a very nice common room and a courtyard where you can smoke and relax. The reception is open 24×7 and they sell 1 day travel cards (these are helpful because otherwise you'd have to seek the nearest metro station or tobacco shop which sells them). The WiFi is also fine. There are plenty of local shops in the nearby alleys and then on the main road. Prague Hlavni Nadrazi is one tram stop away, so thats very helpful even if you want to avail trains out of Prague (and if you want to buy additional tickets, for metro or tram or bus). 

So overall, a good experience for a 3 day stay at this place. Good place to crash. If you're in Prague, I'm guessing you'd be out exploring the city the whole day anyway. 

Easily a 9/10, with one point deducted for the possible difficult climb of 4 floors.

Very good place at a great location

I stayed here for 2 nights in a 20 bed dorm. It’s location is great and the hostel has everything you need with nice outdoor space and free tea/coffee, and places on each floor to do your own cooking. The cleanliness however was poor, especially in the bathrooms, I’m not sure they were cleaned at all during my stay. And the comfort of the beds and dorm room in general wasn’t great, with the single beds extremely close together. But you get what you pay for! It’s fine for a couple of nights.

Cheap and convenient

Vaguely or specifically rude staff makes you feel like you're begging to ask a question. It is quiet but the courtyard is closed at 8, causing the place to be hotter in the summertime. Wasn't my favourite hostel ever. Cleanliness was at a medium level. Not extremely close to interesting points in the city.

Sort of rude and crude

Your bang average hostel. Beds were good, rooms were quiet at night, staff were friendly. Located quite far out from the city centre which was a pain, but a nice walk either way and close to a metrolink stop. Room was clean and spacious. A good stay. 

A pleasant stay

The best thing about this hostel?  It's quiet so you'll get quality sleep.  

That's where the positives end folks.

My biggest issue with this hostel is that it is utterly soulless.  Rudimentary rooms, that lack any kind of character or liveliness welcome you.  Each floor has a kitchenette which is really difficult to work with as it has barely enough utensils to cook with.  We were a family of 3 and wanted to cook a packet of gnocchi with some sauce over the top.  There was one pan and one frying pan and nothing to stir the pot with, 2 bowls and 1 plate because there were no more bowls.  Having to stir a cup of coffee with a fork because there were no spoons sucked too.

The location isn't ideal either.  Of course, this is not the hostel's fault but as the hostel itself was difficult to interact with other travellers, difficult to prepare food and eat at, it was just another nail in the coffin for us.  

If you intend to eat out all the time and enjoy your own company then this is the hostel for you :)

Severely lacking hostel...

Very good value for money. My boyfriend and I enjoyed staying here. Friendly staff, air con and clean :) Not much to say other than that. The eating area was nice and it was good with a kitchen, lockers and so on

Good value

The hostel is located in Prague 3, two tram stops and a short walk from the Old Town Square. You can expect clean beds, a  kitchen equipped with all the basic necessities, regularly cleaned bathrooms, friendly staff and a nice outdoor sit out for drinks/evening chilling. Another plus is the little park just across - Vitkov park - perfect to catch the sunset. My only negative feedback would be the creaking beds - especially the top bunker that makes the loudest noise when you turn or change sides.

Comfortable stay!

This is a very authentic hostel, attention to the little details.
What's nice is that you have an airy space, whether sharing or single.
I liked being in a more authentic part of town, close to local bars and restaurants.
Transportation is so near, within 5 minutes walk and you have multiple options.
Staff are super helpful and understanding.
