Perfectly situated below the castle, it is in walking distance of all the main sites of this beautiful city. The hotel is stunning, with amazing features of the 15th century; quite breath taking. The staff were very helpful and I would not hesitate to stay there again.

Amazing hotel

Our children gave us x Christmas a three-day trip to Prague and they chose this hotel where it seemed to live in a medieval fairy tale. The room was very clean and full of every comfort. The staff were kind and caring. The breakfast offered various alternatives to fruit, yogurt, cake, eggs, biscuits, honey, chocolate, milk, tea, espresso or American coffee, etc. Including the international breakfast. We were very close to the castle and two steps from the Charles Bridge so we always visited the city walking both day and night. We spent a romantic weekend in a friendly and professional atmosphere. We promised to return as soon as possible. Thank you for everything.

The Best Christmas Gift

We enjoyed our stay in comfortable rooms.  The location is convenient if you don't mind a walk up and down hills...just outside the wall.  Beautiful stained glass in the windows and ceilings.    

There was some difficulty in check out regarding the exchange and currency, but it was a matter of language communication.

Convenient, Nice Hotel

The first thing to say is that it is a modest but very well-arranged hotel, but it is about 15km from the centre of Prague, so you need to go by car; the accommodation has parking.As for the hotel, everything is adequate, comfortable beds, a normal and very quiet breakfast, so it is ideal for spending a few days if you already know Prague and want to go elsewhere, avoiding the hustle and bustle of the capital.

A good pension, in the alley of Prague.

This hotel was perfect for the price! The room was very spacious, warm, and clean with a large bed and a nice, and clean washroom.The breakfast buffet was a great way to start the day every morning, although simple it offers both hot and cold options and was always more than enough food to hold us over until mid-afternoon. Sometimes the buffet would be quite busy in the morning (the room itself is quite cozy) but the hostess was always cheerful and would offer a drink (juice, coffee, tea, espresso, etc...) while you waited on the couches outside and she was good about making sure other guests wouldn't unknowingly take the tables as they became vacant if people were waiting. There are also heaps of cheap options for dining just a short walk down the hill from the hotel if you don't feel like the buffet, or like we often did, want to grab some dinner on your way back to the hotel for the night.

The hotel itself is in a great location right next to the Mala Strana and literally a 2 minute walk from the Prague Castle! The only possible downside to this great proximity to the castle, as some others have mentioned is that it is at the top of quite a large hill so it may not be appropriate for those who have trouble walking. The rest of the city is totally accessible by foot from the hotel as well with the Charles Bridge (connecting you to the Old Town, Jewish Quarter and rest of the city) only about a 10 minute leisurely walk away. It is also only a short walk to the tram in Mala Strana that will take you up to Petrin Tower for some great views of the city. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Prague who is interested in seeing the city and being in close proximity to the majority of the tourist attractions! :)
