Hostel Santini Prague

What a Hostel...simply amazing. For the location in Mala Strana, sitting right below the Prague Castle, next street being without doubt the most beautiful street in entire prague - next to a major tram stop, not that you need transport in prague, every cool thing in prague is walking distance. The hostel itself - a UNESCO 18th century building is a testament to retaining the foundation and history while making it suited to modern living. Spotless, and with the BEST staff ever. Now the most important bit that makes it tick - the staff! You would be hard pressed to find more friendly and helpful people. I was fortunate to come across Alessandra (herself from Brasil) whenever I was coming in or going out, and she always made time to answer my whatever questions, made suggestions for potential next day Prague itineraries...and so on. It just made my stay so much more nicer. It is so hard to crtique anything really. If I must, then I would say that for a set of 2 dorms with 10 beds on the 4th floor, having a single WC-Shower was a bit of a trouble. But then thats the fun of a hostel living as well. I just started to wake up earlier to have a peaceful shower :) The café is so well appointed, that one of the evenings a couple walking on the outside thought that it was a restaurant, and came in and asked one of the guests at the hostel, who happened to be making tea for himself - if they could order something :D Tea Coffee is free throughout, they have a free basic breakfast that includes a ham or veg. sandwich. If you are going to Prague, just dont bother staying anywhere else. I don't what will make any other hostel or hotel be any better.
