I've read most of the reviews of Jednota hostel are bad and I can somewhat understand, but its all matter of perspective. A group of friends and I stayed at Jednotas for 3 nights, it has a great location, just 2 blocks away from the train station and like 5 blocks from the bus station, Also, you're like 20 minutes of walk away from the old town square, maybe even less. We had a 4 person room, with clean sheets. The bathrooms and showers were clean, and we even used the kitchen 2 nights without a problem. You can also change money there. The rooms, hallways, stairs and etc. look creepy, but our overall experience was ok. So maybe, it's just matter of luck ! For the price we paid, we thought it was really ok!. 

P.S.The wifi only works in the reception !

Its a cheap hostel, what else you expect?

The location of the hostel is very good, perhaps the only positive aspect. Walking 10/15 minutes you can easily get to the center and closer there is also the central station. As for the structure itself, instead, a disaster. The photos on the site do not make the idea. The main problem is the lack of cleaning. The rooms, we were staying in a triple, were visibly dirty, not to mention the condition of the bathrooms and showers. In three days no one has ever cleaned them, and being used by many people it is easy to imagine in what condition they were; hair hanging on the walls of the showers, hair and dirt on various laundry floors, wet and black.

Creepy Hostel

Already to say why we landed here, our airbnb canceled our apartment 30 minutes before we had to take it... or our arrival at this hostel.... but what a mistake!!! So let's finish with the only positive point.... the three central location Acceuil worthy of the best establishments in North Korea... Comfort worthy of a 19th-century English asylum Level of cleanliness worthy of a dumpster in Bombay Paid 13 euros 50 for a night is already an absolute scam here THE WORST HOSTEL EVER! The 10 euros you put in for any other establishment will be the 10 euros you spend best on your stay here....

It's horrible.

In the reception they ask for the compilation of a form with many fields to fill out... not even in the Municipality... Just one wrong field and they make you compile it again until you deliver it perfectly. Ten thousand rules to be respected that you must listen to before releasing the keys to the room. They demand payment in euros that they prefer to crowns. Finally passed the reception, I go into room number 12 and I am incredible: very dirty, the beds had not been prepared and the sheets were stained with semen. I go down again in reception x complaining and they give me only a white sheets saying that the bed I had to prepare it myself because I don't have staff available. The rooms are never cleaned during the dream.

Horror... to be avoided at all.

I walk into the room and I can't believe it's so dirty, the beds haven't been made and the sheets are stained with semen, the rooms never get cleaned, no wifi in the room except at the front desk.

Hostel worthy of the greatest horror movies. The rooms are totally cradled, the dirty walls of the racks of all kinds and even the residue of I don't know what on the walls. The only positive point of this hostel is its location. But for a few more euros you can find largely middling and above all clean! The staff and friendly but tries to scam people. Attention paid your money! Anecdote: we had reserved a triple room due to lack of availability (so the price of the waiting room..). He arrived at the place saying that we are only a few he gives us a double room. I'll run in my approximate English that I want to make up the difference. But not returning the money he preferred to change us from a triple room as a whole, and as an arrogant advertisement.

Get out of here!

The hostel is located in an excellent location, a 5-minute walk from the central station and a 15-minute walk from the old town. The staff is friendly and available, there is WiFi that however only works at the reception, in the waiting room. The rooms are large and spacious and are not equipped with smoke detectors, however they are dirty, full of poor and insects (we killed 3 spiders that roamed on the floor) and palely neglected. The covers and pillows are full of dust and stains unidentified. The bathrooms are clean, as well as the showers.

Value adjustments

My boyfriend and I stayed at this very comfortable hotel during the interrail. We took a double room with shared bathroom. The bathrooms were very clean and also the very large room with closet. The most pleasant thing, however, was the hospitality of the staff, very kind and available. The location was also perfect, very close to the main station and easily accessible from the center. The price was very low. Really recommended.

It's convenient.

Hostel in an excellent position to move on foot a few steps from the dustbin and then from the clock plaza. spacious rooms but unfortunately acceptable poor hygiene in the common spaces, showers and very dirty bathrooms due to both the rudeness of the guests and above all the lack of cleanliness.

Vacation in Prague

Having a private room for this price is hard to find. The hotel is very well located. The room is not clean but the bedding is, and the common sdbs are too. The hotel and reception area are quite dirty and not well occupied although the staff is very helpful. Ideal for young people (good quality-price ratio and good location near the train station and 5 minutes from the centre) but not recommended for families. Moreover, it is quite noisy given the number of rooms.
