Art Apartments Prague II

We stayed in this 2 BR / 2 bathroom apartment for 4 nights in June. It was very nicely furnished. The kitchen was well equipped. There was even a dishwasher and a washing machine. Both bathrooms had some problems with the shower (broken holder, not working shower head) but otherwise everything was good. There was no air-conditioning in the apartment which was a problem at this time of the year as it was extremely hot weather. Luckily we could open a window to the back yard, away from the street and there was a small fan provided. The street itself has little traffic but there are 2-3 pubs on each corner so it could be rather noisy during the hot nights. Off-street parking was provided in the backyard accessible through a very narrow passage (just as well because there was no way to find any parking in the surrounding streets). Be aware the parking fee is 15 Euro/night. The owner asked us to call him 1 hour before our planned arrival so that he could await us at the apartment and open the gate so that we can park the car. We did but no one waited at the gate and we had to call him repeatedly before someone turned up 45 min. later. Two Metro stations and tram stations are close by (10 min walk) and there are shops and a small market close to the Metro stations.
