Beautiful Pension with lovely staff who speak perfect English and go out of their way to be as helpful as possible.  Room was large, spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished and had an extremely comfortable bed. Large, beautifully clean bathroom with a wonderful shower.  It is in a lovely quiet area, away from the manic Old Town but within easy walking distance of it across the iconic Charles Bridge.  It is right by a tram stop and underground station so it is perfect to get to any part of Prague and it's especially easy to reach the airport from here.  I cannot fault this place and will definitely stay here again.  Loved it.

Absolute Gem

We stayed here for 5 nights in July and loved the location which is in a quiet neighborhood away from the crowds in the center of Prague.  It is safe as it is right next to the Belgium and Polish Embassy.  It is also located right by the Metro Station and tram stops.  The family/staff was very friendly and helpful the entire time and gave us good information.  The breakfast was delicious and tasty.  You can easily walk to the Charles Bridge and Prague Castle.  There are several good restaurants within a short walking distance.  Finally, the room we stayed in was very nice and clean with an updated/new bathroom.  The only down side to this pension is that there is no elevator so be prepared to walk up two flights of stairs. We would defnitely come back here again next time we are in town.

Excellent Pension

Very nice guesthouse, courtesy in the first place, excellent location (under the castle, 5 minutes from the Charles Bridge), clean hotel, small but comfortable rooms and fantastic breakfasts... recommended.

That's great.

Good coffee, good filled croissants made to order, friendly service. The woman serving was very happy to oblige when we asked for our coffees to be held till after eating, and to cut a slice of cake in two. Don't recognise the experience of previous reviews at all.

Great place for lunch

I ordered a hot mocha and a latte machiatto. Latte was ok but mocha was weak, had no chocolate and was tepid. I took it to the counter 30 seconds later to ask for a hot mocha and the barista barked at me in a rude voice to go and sit down, she would come to me. After 5 minutes she came over and I explained the coffee was now cold and was not hot to start with. She was again very rude and walked off. I did not drink it. When we were leaving I was happy to pay for the latte but she insisted I pay for both. She became even ruder,louder and very unpleasant. I wish I had the right money to leave for the one drink. It upset me to the point of tears.... I have never been treated so badly. People like this need to learn to treat customers with respect. Go to the USA and learn!

So very rude!

Ahh! What can I say about this place. You walk in for a cup of coffee and stand behind the counter for a good few minutes before the lady sitting on a chair doing something on her phone bothers to even acknowledge you. She can asks you "what do you want?" without bothering to even get up. The tone in fact was, shall I say, not very pleasant. Then comes the ordering part which took a big effort as it was difficult to keep my calm with her ever increasing rudeness. I am still cursing myself for not walking out.



Most unpleasant customer service ever.

Well located boarding house, no need to take the subway or the tram, quiet, welcoming staff, smiling and listening. For a very early departure at 5:45 we were entitled to a full breakfast.

Very well located boarding house, with metro station almost in front, very spacious and cozy room, very comfortable bed. It sits on top of a cafe. A delicious personalized breakfast. I highly recommend it!

It exceeded expectations

We stayed in the guesthouse for three nights and loved the reception, breakfast, room cleaning and whimsy in everything! Every night they asked us what we would like to eat for breakfast the next day and the hot dishes are all prepared on time with great whimsy and are a delight! The attendance of the staff is spectacular! All the attendants are friendly and attentive! The room is cozy, spacious and with a fridge... spacious bathroom and it is cleaned every morning! It's a little more expensive than a hostel, but the comfort certainly pays off! We would definitely return on a next trip to Prague! And I recommend everyone who passes by there!

Better stay, care and breakfast

The nice and pleasant structure is located in front of the metro station in Malostranska, so very convenient also for the airport (metro + bus119), and close to the old town.
