I've stayed at this hotel twice: on the way to rest and back. Honestly, I can't even believe that Vneshintourist is so economical on customers that it orders such hotels as transit. Community is all you can say about this hotel! In a room on the 7th floor, given the intense heat, it was so hot that I couldn't breathe all night (the air conditioner, of course, wasn't in such a hotel). The open window didn't help! The shower cabin was broken, on every little towel that was worn, even the hands had to be scary to wipe out... Here they write that two good laundry and a comfortable bed - I wouldn't agree.

The name lowcost speaks for itself.

We stayed one night. There were two rooms. Everything was neat, the plumbing was working, the laundry was clean, the rooms were clean, the breakfast was fine.

It's worth your money.

We used Lowcost as a transit hotel, so I really appreciated that even thou it is a 2* hotel, rooms were pretty OK, bed was comfortable and washroom clean. Since we were a group of 53 people, we had to wait to get to our rooms because most of us were accommodated in the 8th floor and the lift to get there was only one (the stair was closed, so it wasn't an option). Now about the breakfast - we got 2 sausages, a lot of bread, few cucumbers and tomatoes and a small pack of butter which expiry date was last month ... and one more thing, maybe it was just a coincidence, but out of my friends bread came out a pretty big bug ... yeah. 

In general, if you are looking for a transit hotel, this is a good option. Just skip breakfast.

Nice Bed, terrible Breakfast

We got a rented room, but it's clean. Two beds across the hallway, a TV, a pre-revolutionary, loud-sounding refrigerator. The sanctuary is small: a toilet, shower room and washing machine. Of the belongings - only one piece of soap and toilet paper. There's no foam in the room, there's no air conditioner. Breakfast is served - 2 dog sausages, 2 loafs, a bag of margarine and jam, a couple of pieces of pickles and a tomato.

Well, it's very budgetary.

On plus side - cheap, no reservation needed (Hotel has many rooms). On minus side - rooms could use more maintenance, also few things are done in strange fashion (Like shower corner have no place to put your shower gel etc.). Also not sure if there are double beds there.

Good value for money paid, but could use some improvements

The exterior of the hotel may be scary, but the room is much better than the exterior of the hotel :) The Internet doesn't catch in every room... the hallway has a Wi-Fi router, but the signal doesn't always come through the walls of the rooms. So for those who need a stable Internet - ask when booking to have a stable Wi-Fi signal in the room.. In a restaurant in the adjacent building you can eat and drink Czech beer quite tasty and cheap. I recommend... Breakfast is minimal, but if you pay a small amount for the hotel, don't expect a big breakfast.

Budget hotel and minimum service

I can't say anything about the appearance of the hotel because we arrived in the dark, and left early in the morning by bus,which went to the lobby.When we settled down, seeing the reception-chicken-camera by the elevator, we didn't expect anything good.But I was waiting for a pleasant surprise!!! A remarkable 2 local room ((for me alone, no extra charges) with a good fresh repair.New furniture,glowing sanctuary and free wi-fi.Good breakfast and excellent service.

We visited this hotel twice, every time it was for one night, we were on our way for vacations.  The rooms were really comfortable, big and clean, there was free wifi. Bathrooms weren't  so nice as rooms, they were a little bit smelly and in one  of them the shower wasn't complete. But they were clean as well, so for one night it wasn't so bad. Breakfast was very simple, nothing special but eatable. Tha man in breafast room/reception was really nice, he doesn't speak english, but we found the way to communicate.  There was also a girl with long dark hair in reception and when we talked with her on the phone she was nice too, she helped us to find the hotel ( we was without navigation) and she waited for as until we came to hotel and it was very late like 1 am. But after we came shw started to behave strange, she made some negative comments about my country and my countrymans. i tried to be nice, I asked some questions, but shw responded rudely and she treated me like that every time I talked with her. And the cherry on the cake - she rolled up her dress in way we havw seen her panties. Twice! Not really elegant way to do with guests I think. So we don't know if we come back to this hotel next year, maybe we will find somethig better...

Not so bad, but could be better

I am staying here for nearly 8 months, and this hotel has failed me. Not only that the internet is not stable for the room further away from the reception, the kitchen facility is nearly as bad as none. Sometimes the microwave will create an electricity cut and we had to fix it at the electricity box EVERYTIME (consider that a dangerous act for guest). 

I am also annoyed when the receptionist girl (with dark haired) refused to fix the problem of our bathroom facility, claiming it is the student's hostel's job (seriously?? WTH... ) But when we asked another girl working the same shift as her, she gladly helped us out.
