63 reviewsJust returned from visiting a colleague at the Polacky University in Olomouc who arranged my stay at the Hotel (Pension) Na Hradě for 5 nights. The location couldn't be better, 5 minute walks to the main old-town squares, easy walking distance to the tram lines and botanical garden by the river (and only a 20 minute walk to the university through the park). My single room was very comfortable and super-quiet. Only had 2 coat hangars but probably could have asked for more. Internet was fine. Staff were very friendly. Breakfast area was a bit small but the choice was good (fresh bread, scrambled eggs, sausages, yoghurt, cheeses, meats, granola, coffee, tea, juice etc.). They left me a nice early breakfast in my room fridge the day I had to leave at 5 am. Church bells rang at 7 am which was a nice wake-up call. I would highly recommend staying here.
