Amazing small hotel close to the square, will come back, really liked it! The rooms are clean and well furnished. The building itself is just lovely. Ostrava is about 30 mins by car, the town itself is charming.

The owner buildt this restaurant and B+B because of history of his family with best service priority (as possible there), not profit priority, it means you can be really satisfied. For this region high level of service and very good food.

I stayed in Pension Svaty Florian for only one night on business. What really surprised me was the level of luxurious feeling for the price (I can't tell if something really costs a lot of money and I honestly don't care). Everything was spacious and comfortable, the staff was friendly and the restaurant accommodarted my quirky wishes without problems. I don't know what more to ask for, maybe a better selection of meatless and dairy-free dishes but that is not yet to be expected in Czech restaurants. I would certainly stay here again in the future.

I figure everybody has a hotel close to home that they use for a romantic getaway, or is an easy recommendation for visiting friends and family. This is that hotel for me. The hotel was originally the town firehouse, which is evident by the large arched windows in the restaurant area of the hotel. The hotel is ideal for business visitors, as I have a lot of out of town visitors, most of my colleagues prefer to stay here because of the comfortable setting and rooms along with the over the top service and breakfast made to order (they are especially good at soft boiled eggs according to one colleague). I've only stayed in the hotel once, but I can attest to exceptionally comfortable rooms.

Finally, I should highlight the restaurant which is moderately priced while delivering excellent cuisine and service in a setting reminiscent of a swanky country club. Heavy high-backed upholstered chairs, a grand piano and oil paintings adorning the walls. I've had many family celebrations and business meetings here and I have never been disappointed.

Being in this nice pension first time and was very positively surprised. Friendly and supportive staff, free parking and fast internet connection, very good freshly prepared breakfast and great service during evening in hotel restaurant. Room itself is clean, nice, big and sleeping there was really a pleasure. Quality of food was simply delicious in this nice family owned pension. Next time being here, I’ll surely choose this pensions for my stay.
