I liked the lady, very polite and kind, nice, she also speaks Italian..! Room wide, too much and too much. Clean everything. She also lent me the hairphone.! What she didn't like.

Delightful hotel

Good position, close to the city center, a mall  is also nearby.
There is no parking possibility, just the city street parking  where you found a place, if you found, and you have to pay  every day for it.
We booked for 3 persons: 2 adult and 1 child, the lady tried to charged us 50% more because of our child then when I wanted to pay she said cash would be better, even it was written that card payment is possible and stuff like this which are really annoying these days.
The reception is a bar , there you have also your breakfast which was quite poor.
No English , Very poor Deutsch.

Very basic hotel

The Atlas Hotel is located in a side street right between the two main attractions of the city. On the one hand the historic old town, on the other hand the world-famous brewery. Everything is only a few minutes walk away. In front of the hotel there are some parking spaces. On the weekends, they were even free. The hotel itself seems a little nestled, the rooms are very different. Recommended are rooms on the upper floor. The equipment is fine, whoever lives a little. There is free, very fast WLAN. There is cable television, and in one of the rooms there is also a refrigerator. On the ground floor there is also a breakfast room that can be used as a bar both at night and at night. The breakfast is included in the price and is in the form of e. This is not recommended, however, as this hotel should be used as a free lunch.

This is a small hotel. It looks like a converted multi-family house. The rooms are fine and clean for the price. The facilities are simple and functional. The hotel was quiet. Parking is problematic. There are about 3 in front of the hotel where you park 2 entrances from the hotel.

Small and fine

On a trip to Pilsen, we stayed in Budweis for a night to visit friends who had booked us a room at the Atlas Hotel. We were immediately given an entire apartment with a kitchen etc. The facility was probably from the 1970s, but everything worked. The pillows should be changed sometime. We were greeted kindly, there is a garage for a car right next to the hotel (no extra charge). Breakfast was fine, but nothing special. The proximity to the city center and the cheap price were obvious.

Acceptable

The usual breakfast: coffee, yogurt, fiambres (since some guests requested scrambled eggs but did not offer them). At 11 o'clock close the reception and the hotel doors, you must return before that time.

It's not worth the price you pay.

The sign indicates that it's 3 stars, I doubt it very much. It doesn't have an elevator, only allows cash payment, the breakfast has little variety. The staff almost doesn't speak English. The normal room but the bathroom was outside the room. For a night pass it was fine but only for that.

Is it normal?

I'll freely admit that being in Ceske Budejovice for the weekend was the tour manager's idea, so he could pop off home and spend time with his family (lucky for some.) It's not exactly a must-go destination despite its attractive old town square and time-travel Communist-era atmosphere on its estates and suburbs. And the Atlas itself is quirky to say the least. The rooms seem to have been decorated by someone in the grip of a bad acid experience: garish greens and oranges abound. They don't service the rooms unless you ask ("we leave the guests to themselves".) The showers are attached to the bathroom sinks (another Iron Curtain relic, apparently.) But they were lovely obliging people (always ready to make you a mug of tea, for instance - which didn't appear on my bill), it was surprisingly comfortable, they have table tennis in the back garden, it was cheap, and THE WI-FI INTERNET WORKED REALLY WELL. For which they get an extra star in my new campaign against wi-fi ripoffs. There's a good pub on the corner nearby that does decent food. Which reminds me, the Atlas breakfasts are very much the average side of average, but if you ask they will do boiled eggs and proper bread.
