This likable hostel type place has a nice restaurant inside and a great outdoor seating area just opposite.

We chose to sit here and had a beer in the old town and it was great fun. Because of its situation you can see what’s going on all around and there is always something interesting happening!

The young waiter really looked after us and helped select the beer we chose. It does take card payments which was good because we didn’t have any cash.

Service was very quick and the cabbage soup was the best I've had in a very long time.  A lot of locals, which says volumns.  We like it so much we went back another time.  Chicken was also excellent.  When we are back in the Czech Republic will definitely visit once again.

The czeck/german menu is full of traditionnal courses. Everything is very tasty.

The staff doesn't speak english, be prepared to pick random food ! 

Don't forget to taste the nationnal kofola.

Restaurant that serves typical Czech cuisine with pleasant staff. We met some friends here for lunch, the restaurant is located few minutes walk from the main square. Stylish wooden chairs and tables, not crowded, comfortable to sit inside during a hot day. The beer served was nice and cold, we ordered a classic - knedlo, zelo, vepro (pork, sauerkraut and dumplings). Although the taste was very good, the meat was very dry in both of our dishes. Our friends ordered dumplings with bacon, huge portions, said they were great. My cappuccino was average, did not order desert since we wanted to walk to the fountain square to get some ice cream.

Myself and two friends checked in on 06NOV16. Late, 7pm driving from Stuttgart. The combination of our limited German/Czech and their limited English was just right! 

We checked in without a problem, however between Ceskey Budejovice, Kutna Hora and believe it or not, Prague they roll the sidewalks up at 8:30pm (could be we visited at a slow time?). 

We had a couple beers and the u tri sedlaku was closing its kitchen and we were directed to a local restaurant just down the alley. Food and beer were there were (sorry don't recall the name) excellent and the three of us ate and drank voraciously for under 40.00US. 

The city was very clean but desolate and had a safe feeling about it. The pension accommodations were clean, well taken care of and more than adequate with a private bath. The bed I slept in left much to be desired, but if we wanted a 4/5 star we could have stayed at the Hilton or intercontinental but this was great, friendly and accommodating. If not for the bed I would have rated my experience at five stars! Breakfast was located in a different pension and our communications broke down. Took a half hour of searching and finally found it. It was more than adequate and tasty. 

For less than 40.00 US it was one of the most memorable stays of my ten days in Europe. Loved it, hated the bed! But I could be biased to my own! Would definitely recommend and look forward to staying again.

Typical czech restaurant

A hotel is situated in the city centre. The location is excellent.

The room was small with basic equipment. There was also free WIFI. The parking place is also included.

It´s an ideal place for city explorers and budget travellers.
