Margadina Hotel

Stayed here for 2 weeks and cannot fault the place. Entertainment: We enjoyed the day activities of Zumba, aqua aerobics and yoga. We didn’t use the kids club but people we spoke to who did loved it. The girls who were running the entertainment were so friendly and constantly smiling. The only improvement I’d put here was the nighttime entertainment was a bit flat and could use some fresh acts. Food: Extremely fresh and lots of choice. There was chips, children’s meals, salad, pizza, deserts, fruit and pasta every day and a big choice of mains that varied each night. My husband is pescatarian and if I had to suggest an improvement it would be to have more choice. Although in saying that there was salmon, mussels and crab but other nights it was just a round dish in a strange sauce. All in all you will not go hungry. The snacks are just different sandwiches or fruit after 3 which we didn’t want as we were so full from breakfast and lunch. There are ice creams all day and if you do want crisps etc there is a very cheap supermarket across the road. Rooms: We paid to upgrade as wanted more room and the room we were given was great and clean. We were given clean towels, beds made and room tidied everyday. The view was wonderful out to sea. Location: This was perfect as we felt like we were in a calm oasis but able to walk to the bars and clubs with in 5/10 minutes. Lots of places to eat and so close to the beach. All in all I would recommend this hotel and would def stay again if visiting the area.
