Not sure where to start…arrived by taxi from airport on Sat afternoon for 7 nights.  

Reception lady very pleasant but then we’re shown our 1 bedroom apartment - ground floor, no view and very, very shabby looking.  

I immediately requested another apartment perhaps on upper floor.  Response was nothing else available - she would check tomorrow when other guests checked out.  She left and would not return until 1230 earliest next day.

There was nothing in apartment - no basics like soap, water, tea or coffee so we had to find a local store.

When unpacking we saw just how dreadful the accommodation was:
- whole place was grubby with a build up of dirt in every corner
- small ants patrolled the bedroom floor
- inside of cupboards & drawers filled with dust & debris
- walls were marked & stained
- no extra bedding - 1 top sheet and 1 pillow each on bed
- lights not working in various rooms
- bathroom a disaster zone with shower surrounded by rust with both shower doors falling off.  — No shelves in bathroom meaning we had to put our stuff on floor under the rusty sink. Soap dishes both rusted with bits of old soap still on them
- 2 bath towels only. No hand towels or face cloths. Only other towel was a stained & dirty dish towel
- kitchen sink was filthy with a disgustingly dirty plastic drawing tray
- inside of microwave had remains of cooked food
- no toaster, but had a gas range top…with nothing available to light the gas! 
- cutlery in drawer was all stained - no bottle opener!
- couch in living area had horrible stains
- large noisy fridge in living area (just outside bedroom) - behind it, but clearly visible, was a blackened dirty mess of old dust etc
- Wi-Fi was terrible - very patchy and when it did connect, it was very slow and entirely intermittent. 

We went to use the pool (no pool towels so had to use the 2 x bath towels).  Area around pool very run down - rusting lamps, a couple of old seats & loungers…nothing else.  Pool water was clean & clear but lots of debris in bottom.  Strangely, the Wi-Fi connected better at the pool!

Needless to say, we went online and found another place to move to from the next morning!  

After a broken night’s sleep (uncomfortable bed, only 1 pillow & sharing the room with the ‘wildlife’) we called a taxi and departed leaving the keys in the mailbox.  I called at 1230 with the reception lady just arriving to inform her that we had left to stay elsewhere.  Later, I informed Expedia.

We are now in another resort, accommodation is brilliant and everything at an acceptable standard.

As to the Piscadera Seaview Apartments, I do not attach blame to the Reception staff, rather it is obviously the owners who have allowed the place to slide into such a state of decay to be utterly past the point of simple refurbishment.

I am losing my payment (cancellation terms were 1 day prior to arrival) but it was ‘cheap’ in comparison to others…now we know why!!

Bottom line: we’re pretty well travelled and have stayed in some fairly dodgy places in our time, but this was remarkable in how truly poor it was!  Please, save yourself the time, stress and money and DO NOT book here…let our awful experience be your warning!

DO NOT BOOK HERE - TERRIBLE!

Pictures on booking.com do not reflect reality. If you want a cheap apartment for a few nights it’s fine, but if you have bad luck, you have a few locals throwing a pool party till late. Some would call it luck 😁

In need of renovation, noise nuisance.

The most horrible hotel I ever stayed in.We paid 60 $ price per studio room.
1)Furniture is shabby and disgusting to seat on. Bed is old and makes noise when you turn.
2)Shower and water heater is in the same room which makes it dangerous to take shower. We turned on electricity and then had shower. For our complaints management just said that it's safe.
3)Fridge is making noise also and we turned it off at night because it's impossible to sleep.
Highway is close to hotel that's why busy road traffic you can here all night. Sirens from emergency cars and police as well.
4)Parking on the territory of hotel is at your own risk, there's sign warning about this. No security at all, only woman at the reception. 
5)And sea view appartement has no sea view at all, back door and balcony of this apartment we stayed in faced the cemetery. Can you imagine this?
We came to the resort and expected seaview.... You open the door and see the crosses of the cemetery. 
I was so upset and disappointed that has no words to describe.

Unpleasant, disgusting and horrible hotel

Great place not so fancy. But we needed a weekend escape so the location was great and the place too. If you are looking for that than it is your best choice. Had a great weekend. Staff was friendly too

We left as soon as we arrived. Prison gate entrance, barbed wire surrounding property. We did not feel safe in this area. Ratings are from 2016 and misleading. Shower was disgusting and rooms were dark. Online photos do not give an accurate impression of the facilities. Requested to speak with management regarding a possible refund as this was false advertising. Management refused to meet with us and never followed up with an answer despite us making multiple trips and attempts to reach out and provide our contact information.  When we went to check out we tried to check the room and found that they changed the locks the day after we left!! The manager finally spoke with us over the phone and proceeded to yell and threaten that he called the cops because we “stole the keys” but the cops couldn’t find us. They knew where we were staying and had all of our contact information. We were not going to return the keys until we received a response regarding a refund which we had explained. Curaçao is great and the Blue Bay Resort was amazing but Piscadera Seaview was the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. The desk staff were pleasant and apologetic but the managers are a black cloud on an otherwise friendly and welcoming local community.

Do Not Stay Here- Horrible Management

We were in Curacao for a dive vacation, and are familiar with basic accommodations, however, when a hotel doesn't have enough towels for every room, there are issues!  The rooms we were provided had a bedroom air conditioner only, and as the windows and doors had no screens, mosquitoes were a problem.  The water heater was dedicated to the shower only, and if you ran the water full on, the heater didn't keep up.  We loved Curacao and will be back, but not here!

VERY basic, and at times no towels!

From the ants on the counter, to the cold water showers and towels so rough they would remove a layer of skin, this place was little better than a dump. But the cold water showers did beat the electrical shocks we would get when the water heater was working.  The furniture was shoddy and stained.  We will go back to Curacao but will never stay at this apartment hotel again.
