From the location to the food, everything is the latest. It is far from the tourist area and the surroundings are not attractive for walking. The breakfast was very poor and the dinner was a disaster (both the day that there was a buffet and the day that we could choose from a menu).

The worst hotel in the world

Very nice location very quiet area of Santiago de Cuba perhaps excess price sixty cuc per night since in the morning there was no hot water good breakfast and great restaurant

One night

El Hotel San Juan is a quiet hotel for resting and sleeping away from the hustle and bustle of the city.I was in January 2020.The accommodation service is good...but the TV had several channels reporting it to the reception and I was reporting it daily and on the fourth day it was given a solution to the problem that disappointed me!!

Considering that the Izla Blue chain is quite modest, I can say without fear of mistakenly saying that the Hotel San Juan is one of the best hotels in the country, I am very sorry that not having the opportunity that other much more mediocre and underserved hotels in the capital have, I believe that this hotel has much to teach you about how to treat your customers.

They've been very good.

It's wonderful, well-attended by the workers, welcoming, clean and organized, parking, room service, and is in a quiet location near the city center.

A trip to Cuba

My family and I were staying first at the Hotel Versalles in Santiago de Cuba, a beautiful hotel and attention centered on this Hotel San Juan. We had a few rooms in Versalles in San Juan because the reservation was initially for San Juan. We called several times over the phone to advance the reservation day but never responded and the Versailles yes, we decided to stay the night before in Versalles. After learning the good news, it was hard to get used to the place and it was exactly what some of us did. The rooms with air conditioning were filled with dust, the air conditioning was filled with dust. One with a plasma TV and the other with a colon. In one of the rooms, the bathroom door fell off without a driver.

Staying for 2 nights at the San Juan Hotel.

Beautiful tourist complex with attached swimming pool for adults and children in a fantastic tropical garden. A discrete restaurant is available in the pool that serves dishes even directly under the umbrella. A valid alternative to a beach day in Siboney is not as comfortable and desirable as a tropical beach. The background music is quite high in the pool and the clientele is composed of half tourists and half Cubans.

Nice hotel with a clean swimming pool. We were lucky that we had a room overlooking the pool. Room was ok with a good bed and a spacious balcony. It is not top quality but fine by Cuban standards. The breakfast was basic but with an outside terrace.
