Dhigurah is located 97 km, 60 minutes away, from the main airport. You will enter the Maldives at Velana International Airport. The airport is located on an island next to the capital, Male’, which is connected with a bridge. Transportation options leave from the airport, as well as from Male’.
Airport — Dhigurah: Speedboat, domestic flight or seaplane
Male — Dhigurah: Speedboat
Airport — Male: Take a public ferry for MVR 10.00 (USD 0.70) that goes every 20 minutes, or a taxi over the bridge.
In the off-chance that the sea is very rough, boats might not travel and the domestic flight will be the only transport option.
Public speedboat transfer:
From Male airport to Dhigurah. Occasionally the boat stops at nearby islands for a drop-off or pick-up. Duration: 2 hours in good weather conditions. Twice a day, subject to weather.
From Male Airport at 11:00 AM or at 04:00 PM. On Fridays: 10:00 AM and to 04:15 PM.
Dhigurah to Male: at 07:00 AM and 01:00 PM.
Only with international flight arrival before 03:00 PM or international flight departure after 11:30 AM.
Cost: USD 132.00 per adult roundtrip, USD 104.00 per child under 12, roundtrip.
Domestic flight:
Fly from Velana International Airport to Maamigili. Hop in a taxi from VAM to Maamigili harbor and onwards in a speedboat from Maamigili to Dhigurah harbor or in reverse.
Duration: 20 min flight + 5 min taxi + 20 min speedboat.

The domestic flight goes 3-4 times a day, times differ per day. The airline is not having the schedule online, so if guests need more specific information guests are asked to write the property by mail. Contact information is provided in the booking confirmation.
If only 1 person is flying, a private speedboat will be arranged for USD 39.00.
One way rates: USD 196.00 for adults, USD 123.00 for kids under 12, USD 37.00 under 2 years old.

Fly from Velana International Airport to Dhigurah on a seaplane.
Guests may arrange a shared sea plane transfer from Velana International Airport to Lux Maldives for 30 minutes, followed by a 5 minutes boat ride to Dhigurah.
Duration: 25 min flight + 5 min boat ride
