18 reviewsWe were on our way home from a camping/off-road vacation in Albania when we crossed the border at sunset. We were behind schedule due to road constructions and far away from our target overnight destination. But we could all use some rest, so we headed towards the coast in search for an overnight stay with our rooftop tents, knowing that there are fines on wild camping in Croatia. At the city limit of Vegorac there was a pictogramm for camping site, so we asked around. As it turns out, the camping ground is operated by Hotel Prvan Vrgorac. Bad news, it was all booked out. But the family owning the hotel offered us a place to park our car, open the tents and stay. Moreover, they provided access to all the hotels infrastructure, pool and everything. The kids got free ice cream. Croatian hospitality at its best!!!
