Vita Apartments

We arrived by car to Makarska Tues 9th June at 9.00 p.m. It took us until 10.40 p.m. to locate the apartment. Booking.com had confirmed the road, but no number for the apartments. After asking numerous local people the location of the apartment and going up and down the road, no-one knew of it. After 1.45 hours of searching, we finally rang the number on the booking confirmation, to be told it was a red building (how we were supposed to see this colour in the dark), the lady would wait for us outside the apartment. We now know why we couldn't find the location, as there was no signage what-so-ever, so how was anyone supposed to find it! However, the apartment was very clean and modern. There was a bottle of wine, milk and orange juice for us in the fridge. There were plenty of towels and these were changed after a week.There was underground parking with the apartment which was great. The location was about 10/15 mins walk from the harbour and beach which was not a problem to us. Although near the main road, it was surprisingly quiet. All in all, the apartment was great, comfortable seating, aircon, a lovely kitchen and dining area and two spacious bedrooms. I would recommend it, but would just warn others to ring the agents for directions.
