Pansion Ivan & Ivana

This is an excellent place to stay in Bol, on a quiet side street in the historic area, a short walk to the waterfront restaurants and shops. There are a few sterile modern “resort” hotels in Bol, but staying with Ivana and Ivan in part of their stone family home is far superior. Our rooms were up steps and included a full kitchen, private covered patio, and garden.Bol is a delightful mix of local activity (fishing, wine and olive oil making, historic sites, small grocery stores, friends meeting for coffee) and tourist services (restaurants, shops, tour boats). The active waterfront serves the small boats of local residents, classy yachts, and small tour boats. There are several excellent gravel beaches on the crystal clear Adriatic within walking distance.With a car, there are numerous picturesque villages worth spending a few days exploring on the mountainous island of Brac. This was our second visit to Croatia and Bol is our favorite.
