We stayed here as a base camp for two nights. We arrived at 5pm after a long coach ride. The email from the host included all necessary information/directions and we found our way easily. The location is a short walk away from the station/port and just to the east of the city walls next to a big food market. The door is a bit secluded and if locked, use the button that says 'bulovic'. Our host was a friendly, bubbly and personable lady. The guesthouse is part her home but we didn't see much of each other. The rooms are secure, clean and private. There is a large well equipped bathroom. Bizarrely, some of the other local women around the guesthouse made some unusual comments in croatian at various points when we were coming/going but they are harmless enough. Overall we had a good stay and were made to feel welcome and comfortable. It is also well worth noting that there is aircon and we had a great sleep both nights. Would recommend if you want a good value base from which to explore the beautiful old town of split. We paid just under 150 kunas a night each.
