Apartments Peloža

7-8/9/2 - We three middle aged London guys arrived at 17:00 after the third attempt at booking and third attempt knocking on doors (six in all - it had just turned end of season in a bad year and listings were confused - thanks B.c for sorting in real time over the phone and getting us a refund in the end). We found the large suburban building at the end of a cul de sac, phoned the proprietress and made our way round the side where she appeared, greeted us and showed us her apartment. It was simple (only €40) but was fine for us as we were only staying one night and getting up very early for the 07:30 coach to Trieste. We were still almost a I'm from the coach station though so a basic apartment sufficed. We found a main bedroom and a lounge/diner/kitchenette. There was A/C in the lounge and shower room but not in the bedroom. We went out in the evening in time for sunset for a wander round this interesting town and had a very good meal in Tradizione. We headed back quite early, went to bed, had a reasonable night’s sleep and got up at 06:00 to make our way to the bus station for 07:20. I did not have the will or time to take pics of the apartment. The place was pleasant enough. We were happy we found somewhere.
