Apartments Bandalo

One of my good friends and I work very stressful jobs and wanted to go away. We literally booked a holiday to Croatia one evening because of an Expedia deal. Let me say, we did not get what we were expecting. We expected standard accommodation and a relaxing holiday. We certainly got a relaxing holiday but it was made 10000000% better with the incredible hospitality of Nada. This lovely, friendly lady did so much for us. She was always lovely and when there was a minor wildfire up one of the mountains she brought all residents to her stunning courtyard and gave us homemade wine and home cured meats with cheeses. We mentioned how much we loved figs and that they grew everywhere and on our last day she left a bowl of her homegrown figs on the table outside our door for us. She is a beautiful, wonderful host and an incredible woman and we both vowed to return to Podstrana because of Nada and all of the other lovely people we met. A note to mention that yes the apartments are up a hill but there are only two steep parts and my calfs and buttocks have never been so sturdy 😜. But seriously we walked everywhere apart from going to Split Old Town and you don't notice the walking because of the beautiful views. I cannot put into words how amazing that holiday was, when we go back to Croatia we will be returning to Apartments Bandalo without a shadow of a doubt!
