Of all our stays in Croatia, this was clearly the best. Our host Ana was most welcoming and friendly. Our room appeared to be newly renovated and was immaculate. We had dinner at the restaurant on-site and the food was excellent. It was very nice to not to have to drive to dinner at night. The included breakfast was also excellent and much more than the continental breakfast we expected. We were served crepes, French toast and scrambled eggs. We only stayed one night and wish we had stayed longer. Enthusiastically recommended!

Ou room was cosy and suer clean, the owner (Ana i think) was superfriendly and the breakfast just outstanding. I mean fresh panacakes, scrumbled egg etc. It was absolutely one of the best stay ive ever had in my  life. The bad thing is that we stayed only one night! W surely came back :)

The rooms were perfect. Extremely clean and comfortable. The owner was the best part. She has a little restaurant up the road. The food was heaven sent. We had dinner and breakfast there. Everything reminded me of exactly what my grandmother use to make for me. Best breakfast I've EVER had on all my trips overseas. I would go back to Plitvice just to stay there. I'm not kidding.

We stayed only one night after visiting the lakes. We arrived in late evening in the night but were welcomed warmly. The apartment has a comfortable size for four person for one night and also well equipped with kitchen tools for more nights as well. One of the couples had to sleep on a sofa, however it was very comfortable and did not seem as a sofa at all.
The bath was spacious and equipped with enough towels. In the morning we had an incredible view to the mountains. We got a rich breakfast and Ana was really mindful as she cooked freshly pancake. This apartment is highly recommended - good quality for reasonable price.

Very warm welcome by the host. Gave some really nice tips to visit the lakes. Really nice breakfast as well. Basic rooms with basic facilities. Offers also nice dinners in the evening with very enthusiastic service.

This is a small guesthouse just outside from the unmapped Entrance 3'. You can walk into the park from here. The gate, abandoned until end of March is a 10 minute walk away and you can sea the big waterfalls, hike the ridge of the canyon or ride a bike in the evening when all tourists are gone.
The guesthouse itself is immaculately clean and located on the edge of very quiet Poljanak hamlet. The owners are sweet and knowledgeable people, which is always the case in Croatia, and would help you to organize your trips into the park or elsewhere in the area.
The breakfast was huge with nice selection of eggs, cheese, meats and breads. For dining out or grocery shopping one needs to drive about 4km. There's a restaurant next to the guesthouse​ but it only opens in June.
Overall, I am glad I chose Apartmams Poljanak and would highly recommend it to anyone.

The owners of the property were amazing and looked after us well.  Breakfast was served on the premises by the owner who cooked a wonderful homemade breakfast.....what more do you want......Fantastic.

Great Over Night Stay

One of the best stay ive ever had

Wonderful host, great location to visit lakes

We stayed here 1 night to visit Plitvice National Park. No one was around when we arrived and we had to search out the owner. Units are upstairs. No elevator. Rooms are quite small with little room for luggage. we were constantly hitting our heads on the sloped roof. It was ok for 1 night but would be uncomfortable for more. Nothing to do there. Quite an isolated place. Breakfast was ok.
