location, location, location... just cant beat it for the falls... the evening service was superb... from check-in to dinner, the staff were excellent!

Stay was wonderful. Staff was very friendly and helpful. very good guidance in planning a day at the park.Their Internet service was not very effective. it would stop / break and slowdown at times.

Staff was very friendly and helpful.  The location is great, you can walk to the lakes/ waterfalls in about 15 minutes.  The WiFi isn’t that great but it was not a major problem.  We would recommend staying!

The hotel is on the far side of Plitvice Lakes, a little bit further to get to but totally worth it as its far quieter than the main entrance area. You can access the park on foot from the hotel to P3 on the National park map. The hotel is made up of several buildings surrounded by well maintained gardens and is very peaceful, you can hear the birds chirping in the morning! The rooms have been recently refurbished to a good standard and are spacious, we had a junior suite which had ample room for the 4 of us, a fridge, microwave, sink and hob. The extra beds were 2 singles which my children were delighted with as they didn't have to share. The restaurant is a short walk away through the gardens and serves delicious local food, beer and wine. The staff are superb, (especially Erik and Vatroslav) they gave us excellent advise on how to experience the park avoiding the mass of day trippers and even collected our tickets for us. Nothing was too much trouble, our daughter turned 10 whilst we were there and they helped organise a cake for her! We stayed for 2 nights and would happily come back again to experience the hotel and area in a different season.

Within walking distance to the park. Very friendly and most accommodating staff. The room we stayed in was very comfortable and very cozy. The breakfast and coffee which was an additional charge was quite nice. We also opted for dinner at the Etno gardens. The food was all very fresh, and it was nice to have the option after a long day of traveling.

First, I must rave about the service. Personal. Intimate. All out. Down to laying out the best approach to taking on the park. This place is perfect for a day in Plitvice Lakes park. You can walk directly from the property into the park with no hassles...I imagine it's easier than even being in the park, where you're subjected to large bus-tour groups. The hotel itself is charming. Comfortable apartment units suitable for any traveler or family. Great rates. Nice breakfast buffet and lovely outdoor dinner area.

Out visit here was great! Finding the place with car was easy and they have good parking! We were there earlier then the check in but we wanted to have a whole day at the park and this wasn't a problem at the reception. The guy who worked there was really nice, informed us about the park and showed us the best way around (and yeah, it was the best way around :))! The hotel is next to the entrance 3 to the park and that is perfect! This is not the main entrance and therefor we didn't have to wait long to buy tickets and go in to the park, even if there were a lot of tourist! The hotel offered a three meal dinner at the evening that was perfect! My friend is vegan but that was no problem, they could adjust. The apartment was really nice, clean and a lot of place. We had to go early next day so we didn't have time to try the breakfast but it looked good, it was a buffe :)

Perfect Service and Location

Good place next to one of the entrance to the park

You are here to be in some of the most beautiful nature you'll ever see. This place feels right in it. A goup of nice 2-3 unit houses, very amenable housekeeping unit, but meals are served outside by the fireplace.  Best of all is the very kind, helpful staff. Walk to the Park. Only downside was the bedding was a tad hard

Great place, great feel

We stayed here for one night after a visit to the lakes.  We arrived too early to get into the room, but were able to leave out car in the car park and walk to the park, which was amazing.There was a play area for children and there was a badminton net and archery set up.We had booked two superior double rooms, but were put together in a house of our own, with a kitchen and two bathrooms.We ate at the hotel - delicious vegetable soup, a hog roast served with beans and fried potatoes and kiwi tart for 20 euros. The only slight problem was that, although aware that the hotel does not accept credit cards, we had not realised that we had to pay for accomodation at the hotel, rather than through hotels.com.  The GPS directions worked for us.

Great welcome in a beautiful location

This was a lovely place to stay.  Although it was a bit tricky to find (not on the main road), we received excellent directions and found it easily.  Pleasantly surprised to find that we were in easy walking distance to one of the lesser-known entrances to the park, which meant we got to avoid parking hassles and fees.  (This entrance is not open in the off-season.)  The kitchen area was very small without many supplies -- fine for doing your own breakfast or sandwiches, but don't expect to do much cooking.  We ate in their restaurant both nights and enjoyed the food.  Very generous portions!

Great location for visiting park

Ivana at the reception is perfect!! She is really kind and do best to make our stay comfortable. She gave me a lot of tips to enjoy Plitvice lakes area. Many thanks to Ivana!There is a play ground in front of hotel, and we enjoyed football and badminton. For dinner we had grilled trout, roast pig and Croatian white wine. They were really excellent!

Hidden lovely place

We stayed only one night after a super but long day at Plitvikse Falls.  We were warmly greeted and the rooms (we needed 2 for our family of 5) were simply furnished, comfortable and very clean.  The staff is wonderful.  Very cool location.  Only negative- we were looking forward to the outdoor grill and picnic setting for dinner but it was not operating the night we were there - late June -- maybe not in season?  There restaurant was good with good soup.  Also, be sure to get directions and not follow the GPS from Plitvikse-- it lead us far astray!
