Sobe Novi grad

This is a small and cosy family-run hotel. The holder is quite open and very friendly. An example: being on a route to Osijek, I understood I wouldn't be in time; I asked for a late check in and my ask would be immediately approved. He speaks German well as well as basic English. The hotel has a great location. It's a very quiet district of Osijek in a walking distance from the Castle, city centre, the Danube, and other attractions. In Osijek, I went on foot, only. Rooms are small but clean, good equipped, and warm - I was there in the last decade of February. The bed was comfortable. A sole problem I found is this: there is no night shops, kiosks, etc. around the hotel, there is no bar in the hotel; if you come late evening as I did, take whatever you need with you. My overall impression: a great balance of quality per money.
