When my family checked in, we were immediately greeted by the owner, Branko. You felt like you were visiting a favorite relative, not renting a room. We just arrived from the airport - and we were tired and hungry. Branko helped up with our luggage, up to our SUPER CLEAN room, with an amazing view. The room had A/C, which worked well, and was a god send, because it was very hot on the day we arrived. We initially were not planning to have dinner at his bar/lounge, but, we saw the fire going - the fish, just ready to be cooked, so we decided to stay for dinner. What a feast! The fresh fish, cevapcici, the black risotto, homemade wine, vegetables from his garden. It was like a feast that you see in the movies or cooking shows. Branko is an amazing chef, and if you stay there - you should at least have one meal in his little restaurant, you will not be disappointed. Apartments Barisic is such an amazing bang for your buck place, you would be silly not to try it if you are staying close to Trogir/Split...
