I took the ferry from nearby Orebic & decided to stay on the island of Korcula. This was a last minute booking & I was delighted with the price- £36 The property is right in the middle of the old town - quite easy to find. The idea is you pick which available room you prefer - if the key is in the lock outside it’s available. There is no reception / staff I was lucky in that room 3 was the only one available of the 3 It is roomy - clean - 2 windows - kettle supplied. Air conditioning was good. Great Wi-Fi.comfy bed. It even had a little balcony. Ok it is a bit noisy at night but that is to be expected due to the location - I just closed the windows I left my luggage while I looked around the town. Ok some people may feel uneasy doing this as there are no staff around - but I felt quite safe doing so. All in all I felt I struck lucky finding this great accommodation at a great price
