This really is a hostel, so do not expect spacious rooms with huge wardrobes ;-) But: The price is fantastic given the perfect location (city centre right at the sea). Rooms are clean, beds comfortable, air conditioning amazing. Staff could be more friendly though. Anyways, great place to stay if you do not plan on spending lots of time in your rooms or want to have a romantic time with your partner. Did I mention the great location...? Great place!

Save your money for the Istrian food! Hostel Pappalina features all the little things that make for a comfortable stay - the ingenious and funky stacked bed design is complete with reading light and outlet for charging your stuff. Free wifi. Large bunk bed has a clean locker with tidy shrink-wrapped clean sheets and towel, lots of plugs for hair dryers, etc, great rain shower, toilet area in your room. Located right across from the lovely port and fabulous shops and restaurants, music all night. Definitely lively. 

We came at the start of summer, so the hostel itself was quite empty, though I'm sure it will fill up come July.  I was very impressed with it; it is incredibly well-built and impressively well designed for a hostel. It was sparkling clean and the room we stayed in was adorable. The bar attached to it was cheap and for the most part people were very friendly. We found out its owned by the same man who owns the resort on the island, though I'm not sure how true that is. It was wonderful and right in our budget. Would definitely stay again!

We arrived very late at Porec, and after being finding some rooms, we were very lucky to find Hostel Papalinna.
Clean and safe hostel. Location is amazing. Around the hostel there were many restaurants and shops.
The host was very kind with us trying to fit us in the hostel. Also, he gave us many tips to be in Porec
Due we were three, he gave us a private room paying for beds.
The relation between price and quality is quite high, due it si very expensive for the service that they offer ( you pay hotel prices for a hostel).
After being seeing some accomodation, Hostel Papalina is a good choice in comparison for the rest of low rates hostels

Low budget in the heart of Porec

Ingenious and Fun! 

Wonderful place

The rooms are clean. The price is average. Fresh towels included.

Pay attentions, the curtains that shield your bed is not thoroughly fixed and can be torn down easily.

Can be paid in kuna or euros.

The breakfast is a rip-off:
It costs 3 € and only contains a small bun ,butter, marmelade,a fruit(apple) and a hot drink(tee or coffee). Better to go to a nearby supermarket and buy something there for the same price or go to a cafe and order a decent breakfast.
