Situated about 10 minutes walk away from the main town, this was a perfect spot and a beautiful property. Mirko and his family were welcoming and on hand should you need anything but generally left you to your own devices. The room was immaculately clean with a stunning view from the spacious balcony and there was a communal kitchen and veranda for sitting out. Would highly recommend if you're coming to Hvar.

Fantastic accommodation 

Really enjoyed our stay here- the room was really spacious and had a nice bathroom and beautiful balcony with French doors overlooking the view of the sea. The walk up to the hotel was quite steep but that was easy to get used to. The family that own the house were all very nice,  welcoming and helpful.. The kitchen was great and the communal terrace was really pretty too. The air conditioning was great..
I would definitely recommend staying here! 

Lovely 5 day stay

I stayed here for 4 nights while travelling through Croatia for three weeks with my boyfriend. It is a family run business with them staying in the houe just off of the apartments. It is by far my favourite place that I stayed in croatia. The family are friendly but kept to themselves so that it was still lovely and relaxing .all rooms are very modern and spacious. we had a room with a gorgeous view overlooking the ocean with all the ships passing. It was very quiet, had great air con and a balcony to sit on in the evenings. The only downside is that it was a shared kitchen with the other apartments, but the upside is that the eating area was a lovely balcony also overlooking the sea. The house itself is very uphill just to be aware of when booking, but all areas in hvar are uphill. strenuous but can be walked to. Would stay here again, really enjoyed it and had a lovely relaxing time, thank you to everyone at house Iliskovic

favourite apartment in croatia!

We stayed 3 nights and had one of the front rooms with large balcony. The hosts very very friendly & helpful and the room was clean. Really liked the communal kitchen & dining area which would be great for groups travelling together. We ate at the local bars and restaurants which are just down the steps as we found the town centre a little busy and loud for our liking. There is a nice beach about 30mins walk away (quicker if you go down the hill side) there is also a nearby supermarket & bakery. 

We left our camera at a local restaurant & our hosts kindly picked it up & posted it back to us which was extremely kind of them & just reiterates the level of personal & homely service we got

Point to note - Make sure you request pick up from ferry port as the local taxi service  charges 100kuna (approx£10) as set price which was a big rip off to get from the town to the accomadation max 10mins ride.

Lovely friendl hosts

I came to Hvar with my girlfriend and stayed at House Iliskovic.  It was lovely.  The host (Myrko and his family) were really accommodating.  The room was clean and in great order, the kitchen arrangements were clean and spacious, the place was well-maintained, the hosts themselves really know how to look after their guests.  It's a 10-15 minute walk to the centre of Hvar, which is reflected in the price - some people may want something closer but we didn't find it a bother at all.  There are plenty of beaches to walk to from there, and central Hvar has plenty of boating opportunities to allow you to explore more of Croatia too.
