I dont usually do reviews, but here I feel like I could write a book, because this place and its owner are simply beyond and a real example of how high quality hospitality should be done. First of all, the apartment we stayed at is a pure luxury, with amazing quality bed and bedding, towels, fully equipped kitchen, amazing spacious bathroom, the cleanest place we have ever stayed at ( and after visiting over 35 countries we did stay at quite some apt and hotels to be able to compare). Ruza (the owner) is an amazing lady that has been running the apartments for years and probably the only one I saw really washes the bed covers and the small sofa and bed pillow in between every guest. She would come every 2 days to clean the bathroom and change the towels which were all included in the price and so extremely appreciated. Also, every couple of days she would change the bedding, so this is basically a hotel stay, but with much more comfort and daily amenities. We have been traveling for months prior to our Hvar stay and this was the first time I really could fully relax and enjoy as we were taken such a good care of. Ruza was even bringing us a locally produced olive oil, made by her family and if we went out of it, she would quickly refill it. All the small touches and efforts she provided made this by far the most amazing stay we ever had. The house is new, extremely well kept and the surroundings are breathtaking. To be honest i don't understand a bit lower score on the location as we found it superb. It is only a 10 min walk to the very center of Hvar city yet situated in a calm street where some of the apartments have gorgeous balcony views over the see. Honestly, i can not imagine staying downtown Hvar in the middle of the season with all the tourist and the noise, so a 10 min walk for full serenity and peace is so worth it IMO. To mention, there is even a huge outdoor barbecue area with a dining table that can be used by the guest any time. Also, parking sport available and free of charge. And of course, our dog very welcome which we really appreciated. Dear Ruza and family, I hope you get to read this and that you know how happy and grateful we are to have booked our stay with you and that we simply cannot wait to be back, since your place and the hospitality that came with it must be experienced more than once! Wow! Just wow! Look no further, this place is a dream!

Ruza (our host) was excellent from start to finish!

She picked us up with our luggage from the Taxi rank on arrival, gave some great recommendations for restaurants, excursions and also information about the rest of Hvar island! We ended up renting a car to explore the places she recommended and we weren’t disappointed! 

The apartment was modern, very clean and she had also left complementary wine and beers! 

Would highly recommend this as a place to stay in Hvar!

5 star hospitality!

Great stay at apartments iris! Ruza, the fantastic host picked us up from the ferry and transported us up to the apartment. She had informative maps printed ready for our use and explained all the best places to visit with her local knowledge! She had even stocked the fridge with local wine in which she insisted we try! Brilliant! The apartment was absolutely spotless, well decorated, which felt like home and all the essentials were there to be able to use for self catering. A very short walk down to the town but I will say a steep one back, which maybe tricky for some people. However it still only took us 10minutes! On our final day she met us outside the apartment and took us and our luggage down to the ferry. Thank you so much for your hospitality during our 4 days with you! Just perfect! 

Me and my girlfriend stayed at apartment Iris this August for 6 nights. 
The apartment was located maybe 7 minutes from
The main Centre and had a very nice view!
Our host, Ruzza, picked us up from the port and showed us our apartment whilst outlining things to do, places to eat and so on in great detail! Which was a major help! 
I must say that Ruzza made our time in Hvar much better as we felt she went above and beyond for us even offering to drop us back to the port in the early hours of the morning! 
Truly great experience here and could not recommend it enough!

Fantastic clean and modern appartment. I haven’t seen such a clean appartment earlier! Great terrace and well equipped kitchen. Very nice and helpful staff😊we were picked up at bud station and taken to the appartment and Rose informed us about Hvar. 

Fantastic 

We stayed five nights at Apartment Iris this June and had such a lovely stay! The apartment was located on a hill just a 10-minute-walk from the town. The rooms were clean, pretty and well-equipped so that we could easily cook ourselves, and the balcony had such a beautiful view down to the town and sea. 

The host was the most nice and generous - she picked us up when we arrived, gave us tips about exploring the islands and changed our sheets and towels every now and then making us feel cozy and comfortable.

If you are looking for a romantic and homely place to stay when you are in Hvar, Apartment Iris is perfect for you!

Beautiful apartment on top of the hill

Well equipped apartment, nice terrasses or gardens, lovely shower, owner very hospitable, absolutely worthwhile!
City Hvar is down the hill, gorgeous city, lovely restaurants, bars. Try top-bar from Adriana hotel at sunset .
Visit wineries nearby beaches are mostly stones, no sand.
Super is a boat trip to Vis, to visit the blue and the green caves.best boat through Explore_Hvar.
Taxi is expensive, busses are not.
